Group E: England, WI, SA, India

Not neccesarily, If England can nip our top order down early, it will be hard for us as shown today. It only takes a magic few overs from Anderson.

We have found the Indian batting hard to contain in the past and it just takes either Yuvraj or Dhoni to get going and we're under pressure.

Plus our batting has been a worry since only Pietersen and really Shah have made competitive totals, plus I worry about Luke Wright still against good bowling. The Indian spinners will play a huge part as well since we've played spin poorly on most occasions.

Oh, we will win hands down Sohum, you guys have actually done relatively well recently. We just bottle, bottle and bottle it again

I hate India.

We get them 120-3 or something after 18 overs and Yurvraj Singh hits 89 off the last 12 balls. It's not even possible but he'll do it.

We'll then make a very solid start to the run chase and lose 3 wickets in 2 Harbajhan Singh overs. Foster will lead a revival and then get bowled by some part-timer as we lose by 15 runs.

Segregate the cheer-leaders FFS!

Male cheerleaders for the Women's Twenty20

Female cheerleaders for the Men's.

Simples.

I kinda hope we get knocked out of the super 8s. Dhoni and the boys need a firm kick in the arse IMO.

That was a thrashing. Indian men are capable of reversing that with the England men's team.:D

It is not enough if India manages to win only England.. They had to win SA and England to qualify for semis. It has now become a high ask. We should have won the game yesterday. It was between 7- 14 overs where Windies have turned the tables. In particular, Dhoni's batting was horrible. Had we got another 30 runs on the board, we should have won that game.

Anyways past is past, now I hope that India wins both SA and England :upray But is this going to happen? Winning the dominating team(SA) of current tournament? :what

Its a Twenty20. Dominant team, etc wont come into picture in this format. All that is required for you to have a good day and you can beat any team. I feel it was not India's day yesterday vs WI, but I am confident that they will come back strongly against England and also South Africa. We beat both of them last time to progress to the semifinals. We will do it this time too (hopefully!)

But I can't still find any weakness in SA. :noway Their batting is exceptionally tooo good like their fielding. And their bowling is definitely good but India should target to attack Botha and Merwe before these bowlers trap us. Remember? Yesterday, We were not even able to get rid of Gayle/Pollard. :noway They bowled 5 overs together and gave away just around 20 runs. If we had got 50 runs from those, it would have made a different story.

Also, If West Indies win SA today, it would be even more tough game for us. SA had to win India to qualify for semis. Wow, what an exciting contest we have! Hopefully it goes in our way. :banana2

Will History repeat itself
Last time india was in the same situation
Nedded to win against the English and the saffers
And HELL WE DID IT!!!!
WE DID IT SO GOOD THAT WE KNOCKED THE SAFFERS OUT OF THE TOURNEY ....THEY DIDNT LOSE A SINGLE MATCH TILL THEN

The West Indies have blown this group wide open. India shouldn't have too much trouble with England but if they play the short ball like they did yesterday, they could be in trouble. South Africa will definitely be favourites with Steyn in Red hot form and Parnell looking good, and then Botha and Rollie controlling the middle overs.

I predict that history does in fact not repeat itself and the West Indies go through with of course South Africa.

I want Chris Gayle's team to lose today. Because, if they win, it will make the matters worse for India.
I see our next match is against England. A tough opponent, no doubt- but yet to do something big here. Still, I'm not under-estimating them one bit, it's their country, their ground- and if KP fires tomorrow- we'll just get blown away. Some of our pacers are leaking a lot of runs, that too is an area of serious concern. Overall, though I'll keep India a bit ahead of England in tomorrow's encounter, there are not many differences between these two teams. Also, the team which will lose tomorrow, will crash out of this competition. This will just make the English blokes more charged up. Overall, I'm expecting a decent game, and not one-sided, as we saw yesterday. India should take one game at a time from now on. As to us, all the remaining matches are like finals. You lose one, and you'll be shown the door. Still, I'm hopeful, and...Chak De Dhoni Brigade!

PS, Two years ago, same teams, same situation, Stuard Broad, our UV!!......:p Would love it if history repeats itself. :p ;)
