It's sad there isn't much acting prowess in Bollywood, and if there is it gets ignored.

There is. Among current generation actors, Ranbir is excellent and Shahid is very good. And you still have Hrithik and Aamir who are great actors.

Among actresses, the situation right now is a lot better. You have Priyanka and Vidya, and you then have Parineeti, Anushka who can be good for the upcoming future.

Hrithik is? IMO he's your typical uber-cool alpha male who doesn't act well in movies but blows away teenage girls' minds.

But yeah Ranbir and Imran are great actors.

No way! He's progressed a lot. I seriously think he's one of the best actors there.

Yesterday watched Ek main aur Ek tu. Wow, that film was bad. Imran Khan is aging aswell. No storyline and pretty bad acting aswell. What a let down.

Does anyone has suggestions of films like Cocktail to watch?

You like Cocktail? I haven't seen it,but people tell me its horrible.

Vidya Balan.

Agreed. I think she is only current actress who can act decently. She was great in Paa, The Dirty Picture and Kahaani.

I don't like Imran's acting, especially when he is involved in an emotional scene. His acting goes from bad to worse.

Amongs the actors, I think Ajay Devgn can act good barring the Golmaal movies and so can Irfan Khan and Manoj Bajpayee.

I don't have any favorites in actresses but Anushka Sharma was brilliant in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She got into the skin of the character and made it look like she was born to do that role.

For me, the top 5 actors(in order) would be-
1. Aamir Khan
2. Hrithik Roshan
3. Ranbir Kapoor
4. Irfan Khan
5. Ajay Devgn/Arjun Rampal

Arjun & Ajay Devgn are too good in few roles, but are average in the rest. John Abraham is another guy, who you enjoy watching. Akshay has hit some wrong notes off-late by doing movies where he must over-act, else he's pretty good as well. Saif can't act for nuts and I only liked his acting in Dil Chahta Hai.

I am also pretty much impressed by Ayushmann. He could be a big star in the future.

The other two Khans - Salman and Sharukh are completely useless, while the latter is completely intolerable.

Surprised no one mentioned this but Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah are probably the best actors present in this industry along with Parvesh Rawal (esp in OMG). Those two actors are the reason why A Wednesday is still my one of the very few favourite Bollywood movies.

It is not amazing, but I have some people with a similar lifestyle in the UK, and it is based in London. Pretty average film. Watch it to kill time, not entertain.

Best Actors/Actresses:
1-Hritik Roshan
2- Aamir Khan
3- Deepika Padukone

Rest are average or crap. Especially Salman Khan. Can't act, yet each film makes 200 crore minimum.

I want the old Akshay Kumar back! Bhagam Bham, Welcome, Namaste London, Phir Hera Pheri, all his movies before Chandni Chowk to China were brilliant and his acting superb. It was all down after CC2C.
