:yes
I want the old Akshay Kumar back! Bhagam Bham, Welcome, Namaste London, Phir Hera Pheri, all his movies before Chandni Chowk to China were brilliant and his acting superb. It was all down after CC2C.

What? Special 26 and Oh My God have probably been his best movies yet!

They have come after a shitload of shitty movies. CC2C, Kambakht Ishq, Rowdy Rathore, De Dana Dan, Tasveer. And Oh My God was mostly about Paresh Rawal and the philosophy behind it that Akshay Kumar's acting, which IMO was just alright. Not exceptional.

Akshay has never been a great actor, and he will never be... But he is on the right path now, picking the right movies for his limited talent and giving successful ones at that. His comedies are at times good, but you can't keep giving comedies left, right and center. It would become boring. Once in a while comedy film would be great.

Akshay should do these films like Oh My God, SP26 where he might have a smaller role but it fits him well enough.

I think a big problem in Bollywood is not the lack of acting skill, but the roles provided to the actors. For example, it was Akshay Kumar who produced 'Oh My God'. Actors need to be a little bit more selective in their roles like Aamir has been (he produced Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par (and directed), Peepli Live, Dhobi Ghaat, Delhi Belly, Talaash). Actors need to be a little more proactive and create roles for themselves because otherwise they will be offered a very limited range of roles (I'm sure you can imagine- the romcom, action thriller like Dabanng, romantic movie with the in-laws beating up the groom, falling in love with your fiances best friend, etc). Akshay Kumar actually acted well in Rowdy Rathore, but the screenplay itself is so limited that he had very little to work with. Akshay actually has some of the best comic timing in Bollywood. He is just making the best of a bad situation, just as other actors are making the most of regurgitated typecast roles. As Akshay, Aaamir and even John Abraham (produced Vicky Donor) have shown, actors have good ideas, but there is an insufficient market for them. Ultimately, films like DDLJ and Dabanng earn more money and so producers and directors take chances on movies with similar screenplay, rather than venturing out of their comfort zone.

One of my favourite actors. I have only seen him in 2 films, but wow, he can act.

Watched "Attacks of 26/11". Very good film, though not without its share of flaws. What stands out in the film is the depiction of the horror killings by the terrorists with even an inch of humanity in them. And the performances of the guy who plays Kasab and Nana Patekar which stand out as very bright lights. And the background score, which I felt aided the film superbly. The second half especially is very good, and I had a choke in my throat when the climax titles rolled out.

As for the flaws, some of the acting by the small time actors left a lot to be desired. And the brutality at times get nauseating. I know RGV likes showing violence on screen, but there should be proper timing for it. And some very well notable actors are wasted in "blink and miss" roles (e.g. Atul Kulkarni).

Overall, definitely a good comeback from Ram Gopal Varma!

Saw "Dabangg 2" mindless action movie with a predictable storyline....But entertaining throughout thanks to d good screenplay and direction.... Din look like Arbaaz khan was directing a movie for the first time.....

Even you or I can direct Dabaang-2 if we have a franchise behind us, and a big star like Salman with us.

Watched Bodyguard. Loved it. Great film, Salman Khan spoils it. The role would have been played better by Aamir Khan
