Hindi Cinema Discussion

Matru Ki Bijlee ka Mandola- Nice Storyline, but a predictable one which moves and is liked almost entirely due to the power packed performance of Pankaj Kapoor and some good acting from the Lead Pair. Overall a good movie which can be watched once :thumbs

Talaash - going to come on T.V this 30th March.Very excited to see.May I know how the movie is?

The plot is good. Individual Characters played there roles pretty much better and the best part about the movies is the Climax. I don't want to ruin your excitement. You'll simply love Amir's this creation :thumbs

Vicky Donor- Loved it! :) Very smart movie. Excellent acting by Ayushmann Khurana and Annu Kapoor, especially the latter. Fantastic story, not overdone, well paced, original, and a good ending. The actress was slightly annoying as she couldn't really act, but luckily her role wasn't so difficult that it required a great amount of acting ability. A must watch, not only for the movie itself, but for the light it sheds on sperm donation.

I tried it for the third time again after reading your review.... Don't know if Vicky Donor is going to be my next 'Lagaan' (that I start liking after ditching it 3-4 times after watching 15-20 mins). But I just can't....... SIT THROUGH THE FILM! Don't know what's so great about it. The dialect is a primary turn off. I have watched films before with Punjabi dialects, but they have not been as irritating as this one is. And actor is a major turn off.

The actress' aunt (aunt in the movie) was my drama teacher in Delhi!

Jolly LLB - the story was promising but the execution wasn't. Throughout the movie I kept expecting something stellar to follow but it wasn't there. Left me with a sense of incompletion. Nevertheless, a nice, one time watch.

Watched Dabangg-2
One of the biggest mistake I made by watching it. Storyline was pathetic, typical bollywood style (venegance :facepalm). Songs were quite funny though and I wonder why this new trend has started especially in fighting scences, too illogical ! One punch can give you a ride of sky :facepalm
Even Einstein would die watching it ! :lol
I'll rate it 1/5

and How this movie earned more than 200 crores ?

Saw Nautanki Saala. Really liked Ayushmann & Kunal's acting, especially the latter's. Few good laughs here and there. That female who plays Nandini is such a waste in the name of an actor. Kristen Stewart must have more expressions than her! :facepalm

Still a good way to spend 2 hours.

Only these types of movies earn the money these days in Bollywood. The amount of money earned is no more the barometer for the quality of the film today. Sad case, but true! You have a big star, you add in some spicy masala and you earn the big bucks. That's why Salman Khan is enjoying a superstar fan following today.

True facts: Its called Hindi cinema due to the large number of deer that are featured.

Genuinely never knew that till I googled it.
