Throughout the movie hes trying to hit the stumps since childhood ridiculed and embarrassed by his peers,but he kept on trying, but when he saw Mike Young it was love at first sight..........but suddenly Pakistans needed him more, but Nehra made a promise that he will one day hit the dreadful stumps. Sadly it was too late as December 2012 arrived............:crying

I just came back watching 3 Idiots and I loved the movie.

The 'Balatkar' scene is by far one of the funniest scenes that I've seen. The comic timing off all the actors was impeccable. Aamir Khan looked like a college student. Though, I strongly feel his acting could be a bit better. Madhavan impressed me by his acting. Kareena Kapoor was average to say the least. Boman Irani was fantastic.

It felt as though I was watching Munna Bhai 3. It surely is the best movie of the year and is followed by Kaminey/Love Aaj Kal.

I found no "Oh not seen this one before" factor in this movie. Those who have seen Munna Bhai series should just burn theater.

Still say Wanted was best movie this year as it was full paisa vasool.

There are so many movies that I can count, which are better than "Wanted". Had it been Mahesh Babu's original version in place of "Wanted", I would have agreed with you.

3 Idiots was mainly a comedy and a humorous movie in which it has emphatically won, it didnt promise too much new stuff.

Saw 3 Idiots y`day. Amazing movie. Brought back memories of my engineering college days (Passed out earlier this year). Felt very nostalgic after that. I think many others would feel the same and that is where the movie has won. It never promised a new story or anything. It was meant to be a complete entertainer and it scored points on that front.
Full marks to the full cast of the film on a sterling effort.

Looks like 3 Idiots will become the biggest blockbuster of all time for Indian cinema. The movie has shattered opening week records of all films both in India and overseas (and it carries exceptional reports everywhere). This is Aamir's 5th consecutive blockbuster in a row (and out of which 3 films were highly critically acclaimed). He is India's biggest star now by a huge margin. Also the Aamir-Maddy-Sharman trio has become deadly (Rang De Basanti and 3 Idiots). Waiting to see what their next film together would be. Maddy has found his rightful place in Bollywood.

Only negative thing from this could be that, KAREENA WILL NOW FLOAT IN THE SKIES.:

Watching '3 Idiots' for the second time on good DVD print. If the first time watch was extraordinary, the second time watch is even better. There were some dialogues that I missed the first time due to laughing/excitement. Amazing repeat value for the film. No film have I enjoyed this much on 2nd watch (not even Rang De Basanti)

Well, I saw 3 Idiots. Great movie. Certainly the best movie I've seen in a while and draws light towards some of my concerns about Indian parenting tendencies and the nation's educational system.

Its unnecessary attempt to further fuel the publicity. Now that the movie has shattered opening records, they are going for the kill and adding more drama to sustain the brilliant run. Particularly done by the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra (the guy asks the media to shut up and all that at a briefing:laugh)
