Me too. Just came back from the '3 Idiots' Show, and no wonder why it deserves so many praises. Couldn't actually hear any dialogues literally, everyone was laughing their lives out!



Great movie, one of the best i've seen in a while, and remain as one of the best.

I don't think even being a film critic, you'd compare movies with others, 3 idiots has it's own comprehensive feel of presenting itself to the audiences, and all say, Well deserved.

Inspite of all that laughter, if you enjoyed the movie, then watch it again by yourself so that you can hear all the dialogues. It will be even better!

I watched it last night for the 3rd time (YAY!!) with a group of 12 friends and they laughed so much that I couldnt hear many of the dialogues properly (thankfully I had already watched the film before and so it didnt make much of an impact). But to enjoy the whole film, watch it by yourself again so that you can have the full impact. SERIOUSLY THIS IS A GREAT ENTERTAINER! Its a '6 to 60' film where people of all ages react the same way to it. Very rare to see everyone enjoy the film this much! Its just so much stuffed with laughter.

P.s: I know some dont enjoy it much due to the Kareena factor (well, they force themselves not to enjoy it maybe!)

3 Idiots was mainly a comedy and a humorous movie in which it has emphatically won, it didnt promise too much new stuff.

Nah man it was much more than that. The topic itself was very serious - the flaws of the Indian educational system, the pressure an Indian student faces from parents, society, and of course themselves. Student suicide, which is prevalent not only in India but around the world.

The genius was that you didn't feel sad watching it. It covered the serious subject briskly and in a comical fashion.

I have to read Chetan Bhagat's book now.

"Three Idiots" was a great film. My type of a movie. Brilliant acting, brilliant dialogues, and brilliant direction. Satiric films are quite rare in Bollywood, and this one is easily the best of them all. I hope the Indian parents, who are "overly" concerned with their wards, watch this film and realize their mistake. 'Twas time someone made a movie highlighting the miseries of the present Indian youth, and I'm happy that Aamir has finally done the job.

Pyar Impossible? Dont even want to talk about that. Uday Chopra? YUCK! Cant stand even a minute of him. Priyanka is insane for acting with him.

P.s: To the person who gave me negative rep because I said I watched '3 Idiots' on DVD, I have already watched the film in theatre a day after it released all over the world. I also posted about it here. Downloading the DVD after paying the money to watch it in theatre is not wrong IMO. I am also going to buy the original DVD of the film when it comes out.

3 idiots is a decent movie. too many references taken from MBBS.
its like rajkumar hirani used the MBBS one as a superscript while writing the movie.

none of the main cast look even near college going age and kareena
just makes it worse. also, boman irani's character is too caricaturish.

the baby kicking after "All is well" is infinite facepalms put together.

but the movie does have some saving moments like "Balatkar", the guys reaching late for the exam, madhavan convincing his dad of wanting to do photography etc..

and I have to say I just loved the film. it was funy and some parts were sad.
I will watch again if I have time.
