How are you going in International Cricket 2010?

I will be back to playing IC2010 tomorrow when I re-buy a copy of it :) Can't wait, as if I thought I could just play AC09! Big mistake! Btw, the only stadiums you need to unlock are the ones you get for completing the lessons yes? And also, if I have already unlocked them, but got a new copy of IC2010, will my PS3 memory remember that I have already unlocked it?? Cheers

If you have unlocked it on the same machine it will make no difference what copy you have as its the actual machine that saves the data.
Why did you buy it and get rid of it and end up buying it again?!! :facepalm

Yeah im with gone4aduck with this. Way get rid of the only good cricket game there is out there. I have said it before if your a true cricket fan and gamer then you should buy any cricket game. As codemasters are the only one releasing cricket games at the moment then they will have to do. Want annoys me is that trickstar just go away for months and dont say if there is a patch or a update coming. If you guys dont care or codemasters will not let you, then tell us so people can stop dreaming.

Because I wasn't playing it very much, and someone offered me ?30 for it, so I thought I would sell it, then I have re-brought a new copy for ?25 saving me ?5, thats why.

Thats good buisness. I like the way you think sir. :yes

I am just loving bowling with no hud!! In broadcast (2) view. I just realised that for bowling there are three views: action cam 1; closer to the ground, action cam 2 , higher up and broadcast view. Pretty neatly done. I like the way the ground "rocks" as you lumber in!!

I'm surprised you haven't got into bowling in action cam. I enjoy it far more than broadcast and have found that by listening to the bowlers footsteps during the run up you can find your rhythm quite easily and have cut down my amount of no-balls significantly. To answer an earlier question you asked in regards to how I find IC compared to EA07, after roughly 10 hours of playing this I can't see me ever going back to 07. I just need to learn how to bat!:facepalm

Lol! I actually meant action cam 2! Soory for that. yeah I feel exactly the same. tried a game of Ea yesterday....just does not come anywhere near this game in terms of gameplay and "being there" if you know what I mean.

Imagine this game in a couple of versions time: if they build and develop properly and iron things out. Its already pretty decent but the fielding side of things needs a good work over!

Just unlocked all the stadiums by doing the tutorials again (My stupid PS3 has wiped all my memory off, meaning I have lost all my game saves, but oddly hasn't wiped any of my trophies). Should be back into starting a test match soon with my new created player debuting at no.5 :)

My sentiments exactly, there are a fair few things that that need sorting and added but personally I think nothing comes close when playing test cricket. I've had moments when I have been steaming through the batsmen only for them to build a really good partnership, so then I start bowling to a plan.Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it does feel as close to bowling (and as frustrating at times!) as a cricket game has ever managed.Bouncers are obviously still lacking but I have found if you move it back at the last second they can work well and actually get some bounce.
Also nobody appears to have mentioned PvP offline, had a mate come round yesterday and we had a couple of fantastic games and it's quite noticable that you can't get away with the shots that the AI would

How do I make my custom player like this:

Bat:70
Field:60
Bowl:50

I already know how to make the bowling 50 because if I select Batsmen the bowling is already 50

But, how do I take 10 off the batting to add to my fielding, just take 2 off of each batting column?

I have had a couple of beauty bouncers by placing the thingummy slightly back of the so called best bouncer spot and then bowling an outswinging or inswinging delivery...got right above the batsman's head with it!!

I find if you dont get the circle into light green against a set batsman you must get the timing perfect. It bugs me how you have perfect line and length balls sent flying to the rope. Kind of feels your being punished for getting everything spot on!

Have you tried moving the bowling cursor at the last second? Just very slight movements but with this method I have found that you can bowl in area's that you usually wouldn't be able to without getting tonked
