u was right saad game was crashed when u move on 2008/2009 season after australia in pakisan series playings as pakistan and now i will stick with icc 2005 until a patch will realease.

Well this is not really a bug, but it really annoys me especially when little kiddies play. When they are on the verge of losing they do alt+ctrl+delete and then both teams will disconnect. Really annoys me and has happened a few times as well.

Just thought this was strange, Sri Lanka won the match and Sangakarra got 100's in both innings, but Vaughan got man of the match. Might not be a bug, just a mis-hap with the system.

Playing as Lancashire and England. Just started the 2008 season and none of the teams I'm facing have any stars at all on the Team Selection screen. Zero stars for overall, batting and bowling for 4 teams so far. My stars are being displayed fine - just the CPU which has nothing displayed.

Well, I played 3 seasons I think just won the WC and beat Australia 2-1 & 4-1 in a home series with Pakistan and when I click to proceed to 2009 season the game just crashesh the screen turns black and it comes up an error! Too bad when it was going so good! :'(

LoL, also SBN against the Aussies in OD I think was on 30 from 40 and he edges and Gilchrist drops it and runs to collect the balla and you see that the batsmen go for a run and wait for the second and it's not even a run out chance and he is given out caught it was dropped and Gilly ran all the way to collect the ball!
LoL, and also Inzamam got out so I sent in Afridi and he got out but it turned out to be Inzamam again got out and Afridi got century from 52 balls! =P
HAHA, and once Youis KHan & Younis Khan were batting together 107* & 3*:
It turned out to be Moyo after I saved and loaded, it was still funny thou! ON ICC2005!

That's always happened in ICC. I think the AI doesn't realise that the new ball is available soon, so they still use the pace bowlers so they become tired, so someone else has to take the new ball.

Just to let you all know there seems to be a patch coming very soon that will correct the bug most of us have encountered with ICC2006. Filed a bug report with Childish Things a few days ago and this was their reply (removed my own email address) :

We are about to release a patch which will fix the problem. You can get the patch by pressing internet play from the main screen when you have an active internet connection (in 1 or 2
days time).

Can't believe this was missed in testing, but should be fixed now.

Playing ICC2006 as the West Indies. Cannot get past the end of the second season (2007/2008)and proceed onto the next season as whenever I click the "continue" button, the game simply crashes. I hope the patch wont require you to register your code. That caused problems with the 05 patch for users who forgot their code...

Yes if you paid via SoftWrap you will have to re-enter your reference code as the updates works with both trial and full versions. This is normal and can not be avoided.

If you 'forgot' your code SoftWrap sent you it in an email as you are not expected to have to remember it yourself. I also believe (although not 100% sure) you can get access to your reference code by requesting the details be re-sent from the SoftWrap web site (not ChildishThings).

Guys this is my second time i took pakistan all the way to 2007 with fit players in form, i was about to play a series before world cup the game crashed and i did'nt save it, f***ing annoying me now.

- ICC 05 bug.
