More 5-fers than centuries in this Tourney so far.
Anyway, India win this, actually missed the game, so I really don't know much about the pitch conditions and what not, but being bowled out by PNG? Our batting has got to improve if we actually want to win this thing.

As I mentioned earlier, the batting has been poor so far. We cannot afford any more slip ups especially against a strong Pakistan. I have been mighty impressed with the bowling though. Lets just hope that the batsmen get their act right.

Yes.
Of the 4 quarterfinals, only 2 will be streamed on ESPN3.com, England vs South Africa and India vs Pakistan.

Wouldn't be so bad if the tournament was in the West Indies, then the Aussies would be the ones losing sleep.
The U-19 World Cups should be held in Associate nations-just like the one in 2008 in Malaysia. It helps spread the game. The full-timers do get enough share of cricket anyway with their tours and all. Additionally, they are entitled to host the main events in the form of the World Cup, ICC CT and the WT20.
Such a move will help improvise the infrastructure at other places and would probably help these countries invite others to play,thereby improving their game.

They certainly have done well over the years, plate finalist specialist they are. Dont know why they cant carry on in the test arena, played horrible since test status was given to them. Hopefully they can make the real finals and not the plates this time!
The Plates are stupid. Its just a way of according a ranking to a nation. Secondly, the crux of the U-19 team changes, so its best not to look too much into the number of wins a particular nation has.
I am expecting Pakistan and South Africa to do well here, but this is a funny game and anything can happen.
