Well Netherlands were the real surprise package this season they holds the record for chasing 190 runs in just 13 overs and also holds the record of lowest total in t20 of 39. But for me they played really well they came close to beat south africa as well just I think in that match they Were just lacking in taking singles and rotating the strike for every ball they were slogging hence they just kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Also very sad to see that they are not qualified for the next year's icc world cup

Going into the interview in a couple of weeks time - how on earth is he going to answer the questions "Why should we give you the job?" and "what experience do you have that makes you suitable for this role?"

Netherlands literally had just one bad match in the whole tournament, that against Sri Lanka. I do agree now that lack of experience has cost them a place in semi's. They were winning against Saffers and were in a decent position against the Kiwi's as well. And they obviously dominated the Poms today.

Netherlands surely will go back with their heads help up high. Nobody gave them a chance to even qualify for the group stages as against the better teams of Zimbabwe and Ireland in their groups. Not sure how badly was the betting world affected by their win against Ireland.

Well played Dutch. Everyone was questioning their place after the match against SL, and saying Ireland would have been better off playing the main round. They have proved everyone wrong. Pulled off the most amazing T20 run chase. Almost beat a full strength SAF. And now embarrassed England. Bravo

Well, they have certainly proved me wrong. I criticized them after Sri Lankan match but I feel if they had Ryan Ten Doeschate and Dough Bollinger still playing for ND, they would have come up on top against South Africa for sure.
