It was a lose-lose situation either ways, Dhoni just did a horrendous job of rotating and managing his bowlers.

I don't agree because Ashwin was the only one today who actually bowled well. Mishra had a bad day and knowing our fast bowlers, Dhoni just tried to get more overs out of Raina and Jadeja. You see what happened when our fast bowlers bowled at the death. I am not still not sure about getting all that overs out of Raina though. Should have tried Yuvraj probably? However, it is easier said than done. We need to bat exceptionally well to win this game.

Thinking about it, maybe Dhoni originally planned to bowl Ashwin at the death and not Jadeja, except Mishra had such a bad day that he needed the wickets from Ashwin to even it out and changed his plans to suit the situation.

Well this is what we needed a strong match defining opening partnership with Viru and Gambhir back in form recently IPL coming up, you can say Rohit Shikhar had to grasp the opportunity.
