it's just a pity kohli hasn't turned it on to these levels in the test arena, it would be like watching ponting, tendulkar or lara at their peak. he's in the running for an all-time XI in limited overs cricket already the way he's played over the last couple of years.

I dont have an argument for D/L. I have always disliked D/L. I wish they find a better alternative for it (or an alternative for using it).

Ye well my friend, I guess thats the view of the entire cricket world on D/L. One of the stranger rules in cricket, that players, fans have just accepted - but to its defense to some degree i guess D/L works relatively ok in ODIs.

With T20 being the format, cricket is popularizing the game with - got to keep out those complicated things like D/L at least from this format.

I think you have to just give him a bit of time to perform in the test level. I think he is peaking at the right moment at the test. His temperament is still something that he needs to control but he is good enough.

What a win for India!! Champion stuff from Virat Kohli! And brilliant bowling from Ashwin to help us restrict SA to that total eventually. If not for him, SA would have raged into 185+. Ashwin has made a massive comeback this tournament after all issues he has had recently.

Now onto Sri Lanka! I think SL in their mind might have wanted SA to get to the finals. They are now running into a rampaging team. The team that broke their hearts in 2011. Can we do it one more time? I hope so....
