Once the BCCI starts flexing its muscles, you'll all know who's boss. If you guys don't like it, lump it.

Anyone else find it funny that all the Indians aren't mentioning Hogg's case, where all the evidence against him was used EXACTLY like it was against Harbhajan? [/COLOR]

We have a reason to believe that the Australians have come toegtehr and falsesly accussed Harbhajan. It is possible.

In your country calling somebody a ******* might be acceptable to us that's a deadly insult.

So the same rules should apply. Hogg should be banned for the same duration as Bhajji has been.

In our country calling somebody a monkey is not racist at all.

So there you go, Mr. Double Standards. Why is Hogg merely reprimanded while Harbhajan has been banned?
Fair enough mate good point. However the reason Hogg only got a reprimand was because he insulted an Indian player, whilst Harbhajan's 'monkey' comment is considered racist. Racist is worse than a sheer insult in out society today bud. ;)

And you make a good point in saying "Monkey isn't a racist word in India" well, it isn't a racist word in Australia either. It is offensive to people of Carribean decent, infact a few West Indians on here said that they would take 'monkey' as a racist term, so we should realise that. ;)

Lol thats stupid. We worry about the games not silly things like planning to make up a story against one of your players.. lol.

Absolutely right.

The whole Australian team almost has given evidence against Harbhajan when not even one or two of them could have heard what he said to Symonds.

It's blatantly ridiculous.

Because you Aussies cannot seem to get your heads out of cricket and look at the politics behind it all.

WE've been affected too much by the ICC's biased attitude.

Why would the ICC be biased against India? Considering the amount of money they bring?

I am not supporting the decisions that have been made by the umpires, match officials and the ICC, but that still does not permit you to do the things you are saying.

Because this is Cricket. Did India even think about what might happen if they withdraw from the tests? Did they actually seem like they give a care to the game of Cricket? Do India care about anything but being so selfish but to drag the whole game of Cricket to revolve around them and all their problems?

What might happen ?
Australia will be regarded as one the worst places for sub-continetal teams to tour.CA will ose a lot of money. Now,you will argue that the BCCI too will, but they hell richer, richer than the ICC.
Dragging the whole game, you say ?
Thank God,that the BCCI have not pulled the other sub-continetal boards, once that happens, just wait till they flex their muscles.

Care to show us some examples of the mean ICC being anti India?

Far too many.
Puttinh them here-I'd rather start a enw thread on it.

Guys I think there has been a misconception of the outcome of the trial. This is the report about what happened.

Harbhajan Singh, 3 games suspension.

He hit Brett Lee on the bottom with his bat as Brett Lee was walking back to his mark to bowl, in a playful gesture. Andrew Symonds saw this and said to Harbhajan "What's that for mate?" Harbhajan then called Symonds over during the break in the over (This is the bit that we all saw) and called him a monkey, again after the big outrage in India. Matthew Hayden heard that and said "Guys, stop it" He then walked away and Harbhajan said something to him (thats when we all saw Hayden put his hand up in the air, making a gesture to the indians like 'settle down)..

Brag Hogg, Repremand.

Calling an Indian player a bast**d. Now, guys this is the important bit that should stop all your comments about Harbhajan being treated without evidence. The testimony against Brad Hogg was based of Indian players who are going off the same thing as Harbhajan's case, here say.

So. If you want Harbhajan's ban appealed because all the evidence was just 'here say' fair enough I guess, but while you are at it, Brad Hogg should also get his reprimand taken off him because all the evidence was just 'here say' against him.

Anyone else find it funny that all the Indians aren't mentioning Hogg's case, where all the evidence against him was used EXACTLY like it was against Harbhajan?

Who cares about Brad Hogg. Indians have heard many sledges that have been nastier than that from other countries. Andre Nel seem to do it every over. I bet he sledges in his sleep also.

Well the Australian's have reason to believe that the Indians came together and falesly accused Hogg ;) See how this works? In saying you think Harbhajan should have his ban taking off, you should also be saying that Hogg should to.

So what about the proof? Where was the proof.

Why should the Australians be believed in this while the Indians are not being believed.

Shouldn't the onus of proof be on the prosecution side? That's the Law.

It seems everything has gone topsy turvy down under. :p

I did not know that Symmonds was of Carribean descent. You learn something new every day.

Do you want fairness or the rest of the world to bend over for India? Nobody's a fan of an idiot with a massive sense of entitlement

Untrue mate, 4 Australian players were called upon to testify and the ICC made sure with the camera that they were all in ear shot.
