India in England/Ireland/Scotland

10 overs 1 for 49-well bowled monty

James Anderson bowls him, and a well deserved victory for a far superior England side.

Terrible really, England played really well today.

Three good ODI performances in a row from England. It looks as if we are finally turning a corner in one day cricket with Pete Moores at the helm. Broad and Anderson have been a revelation with the new ball.

Exactly, we are finally winning some ODI's. Good stuff from England, the fielding was immence, the batting was great, and the bowling is generally much more agressive which is very good, and a pleasing performance, well from my point of view.

I would blame Dravid again.

I'm sorry but that's a disgrace of a comment. How can you claim to be a true fan of India with a comment like that? To blame Dravid for the defeat is just silly. Yes it was the wrong decision to bowl, but you could understand him bowling first with the overhead cloud. I notice you've completely forgotten about his superb innings that put India back in the game. Stop being so disgracefully over-critical of your captain. Get behind him for a frigging change.

Although he gave england first chance on the pitch, they didn;t bowl that well or field, so you cant really blame his decision for the whole game. It was a mix between batting, running(particularly), fielding and bowling and England were just spectacular.

Broad, Anderson and Bell were good but don't be fooled about England 'turning a corner', they played OK. Cook should have gone for next to nothing when he was dropped by RP in a chance that I could have taken and England stole 30-40 runs against some of the worst fielding...ever...by anyone. They had a few very cheap runs against the confused bowler that is Munaf Patel. Not only that but Dravid made a blunder of the toss...again.

England bowled well, but the short and wide with a packed offside field tactic will only work for so long as well.

i hope india dont playthis gamble again playing 5 bowlers for the next matches because england will rip through the order, robin uthappa should come in. not to be complaining but that plum LBW desicion which was not given when yuvraj was bowling to collingwood when he was on 8 or something could have changed the game if he was given the right desicion (out). because he went on to make 40odd and look how many india lost by...... 43 runs :(

There is no point to support Dravid because he is not fit for the captaincy job.

Out of order. Captaincy is a major part of the game and it was a very poor choice at the toss. Although slightly harsh, he is entitled to his opinion just as you are.
