India in England/Ireland/Scotland

I find it amazing how he has a more sensible head than at least half of our actual batsmen.

he started as an opening batsman..untill he grew freakishly big :p

And the occaisional poor shot.

occaisional ??

only 1-2 player were actually "bowled" out.. the other 5 were poor shots ( well 4+1 daft runout)

He used to open the batting for the Leciestershire youth sides that he played for when he was the specific ages, until he was 16, when they were looking for another bowler and he decided to bowl a little bit. Over that winter he grew a massive amount and came back the next year with the ability to hit the pitch and extract bounce at a decent pace, and then Leicestershire started pushing him into County Cricket as an opening bowler.

yes he did..then he grew like a foot in a year..and decided to try bowling

Never knew that. Learn something new everyday. Cheers.

And as I type this he drives the ball for four beautifully.

You could just have read his cricinfo or wikipedia :p England might win this but it would be typical to lose a wicket now and the lights deteriorating

he's definately got a lot of promise..

50 partnership up..

these two are showing up the more experienced players..

England back on top now. Broad is lucky to survive against Chawla. It was straight on leg stump.

That decision has been India's only chance for an opening and England will likely clinch it from here as England looking comfortable here picking up the singles.

Well these leg-side wides certainly aren't helping, but I like the fact that Indian bowlers are attacking. All they really need is one more wicket and then they're right back in it.

Have we been here before..Ravi Bopara..Sri Lanka, world cup.
He'll want to do it right this time.

4 for Broad!
Never in doubt.
