India in England Jun-Sept 2014

On paper Kulkarni is a better bowler than yadav for limited overs economically, also he can hit 140s, still a bummer wanted to see yadav in action ,hopefully gets a game in the next one. last i remember of yadav was destroying Aus in a warmup game before champions trophy but didn't perform well after that also leaks runs, hope he has improved.

We need people who hit the deck hard at a good pace in Aussie conditions. Guys like Varun and Umesh would be better wickettaking options than Dhawal in Aussie conditions. Trust me, most bowlers are going to concede runs on good batting tracks, even Steyn goes for plenty in ODIs quite regularly. The reason why people pick guys who can bowl at a good pace is it allows you the chance to bowl sides out which is still the best way to keep scores in check.

In the CT game vs SA, he got Amla cheaply and then went on to pick up De Villiers when he was taking the game away from us. Both were genuine bowlers wickets and not just a result of some slogging. Again in the final he got Cook out edging to slips. I don`t know what our selectors like to see in a pace bowler.

It's almost like we stumble upon something that works, then we get embarrassed by it then ignore it. We won the World T20 by innovating, but that didn't leak into the one-day game. If anything, we've become even more cautious.

Any game England play where they lose early wickets, the number five is never given licence to counter-attack. Warwickshire under Dermot Reeve had a rule that any spinner they played against was not allowed to bowl a a dot ball. How many England batsmen look to do that?

shock as recently-retired england player talks sense.

What a bunch of shambles. I give up. I go out for 15 minutes and 3 more have gone. Just when it looked like they could go on and make 250, they go and get themselves out. Buttler shouldn't have been given out but you can't just complain about the umpires, the performance has been awful.

James Taylor is much needed.

It's laughable how bad we are at limited overs cricket. And we have to wait until April before we get the good stuff back again.

It's a joke mate. I'll just stick to watching us play test cricket. It's a bit more enjoyable!!!

Well what a quality bowler Anderson is. What an over. No wonder they call him Game Changer!!!!!!!!!!

This is like watching the last 3 matches of the test series. You know what is going to happen. Now I hope they give chance to Umesh Yadav in the last game and he can do well.

what a knock by rahanae, he is class[DOUBLEPOST=1409671335][/DOUBLEPOST]good to see dhawan among runs too
