India in England Jun-Sept 2014

lol sai must be going nuts again, wondering if there is a system that can correct decisions like that

Wonder why Dhoni doesnt give the ball to Pujara? Pujara has been saying recently that he is working on his bowling in order to get a spot in India's ODI lineup. Doesnt hurt to try him for an over or two on a pitch like this. There are the "Oyeeee...." shouts from Dhoni for Vijay's bowling itself. Maybe Pujara can do something.

Oh my god! Its Dhawan to bowl. Did Dhoni do a "Inky Pinky Ponky" as to who he wanted to bowl?

And Dhawan almost took the wicket of Moen Ali !

The DRS debate starts again.... Moen Ali was extremely lucky there. Dharamsena doesn't make many mistakes..

So 6 wickets or 200+ runs. At the risk of sounding cynical, I'd say it's still even-steven. It's just a matter of 200 runs in a day and we know how sticky Root can be. Add to that the fact that England tail has wagged, it can be anybody's game. No one's in the driver's seat yet.

Yes agree with that. Its anybody's game. One thing that is ruled out is a draw. With only 200 runs to get and a day left, I dont see this game petering out to that. Its either India or England. England still have players like Prior, Broad and Plunkett to come, apart from Root/Ali. These guys put together are capable of way more than 200. Its the turn and variable bounce in the pitch that puts India in even keen (might even say, a trifle ahead).

Big partnership required tomorrow if we're going to stand any chance of winning this but if i'm being honest I just can't see it happening. We'll most likely collapse like we always do.

Full credit to the Indian team, they've played brilliantly, especially Vijay and Kumar.

As an Indian fan, today was a fantastic day of cricket to watch. Vijay, take a bow. What a super innings. Ravi Jadeja is a Warrior King. Bhuvi Kumar is doing Bhuvi Kumar things. Ishant bowled a fantastic spell. Life is good.

Moeen looked a little shaky against spin at the end, but Root looked very solid, which is a little worrying. Felt sorry for Robson, who wound up on the wrong end of a 50/50 decision while Moeen got not one, but two 50/50s to go his way.

I just wished Vijay got his hundred. This is his best ever innings, way way better than his 146 in the last test in Trent Bridge. I am sure he would rate this one the best if India wins tomorrow. Jaddu clicked today, better he clicks again tomorrow to spin India to a win. Still maintain Ashwin could have been far more effective, but Jadeja delivered the goods, so nothing much to say. Dhoni always get lucky that some of his decisions and the people he backs, click.

Just watched the highlights. Jaddu's celebration at his 50 was priceless. In Tamil lingo, we call that "silambam style" (the game of the sticks). The way he did that with his bat was AMAZING!!

England is breaking down like India did the last time they came to England. Hope India knock them out and Cook leaves or is let go. Will be very difficult for England after that.
I remember how the English media taunted us repeatedly last time about not having bowlers.
Looks like England don't have much besides Pretty Boy Stuart Broad and Thug Anderson.

I think England are as good as ever, only thing they need is take Cook out of captaincy, rest him a bit to get his batting form back, put bell or broad as captain also let go of Prior as he is not good behind stumps nowadays, get bairstow or butler they just need a counter attacker to replace KP, obviously they may not be KP good but still someone who can take attack to opposition on his day would make the team much better and more entertaining to watch, otherwise i do feel the whole bunch is pretty talented and good, from ballance, root, stokes ali, all the youngsters are performing well, its only the experienced guys like cook prior who are not performing with bat, also ali is not their spin solution though he is good enough to be just a bat.
Their problems are more with the think tanks rather than talent or skills.

Today is a going to be thriller hope india comes out on top, sir ji is going to be crucial.

England looked good then Ballance edges one and then Bell gets bowled by one that doesn't bounce at all.

Might be needing rain soon to help save this test.

Really happy the way Bhuvi has been playing in this series. Had no idea he was that good as a batsman, he is playing some really great shots. It makes me wonder how different the result could have been in the series against us if he played instead of Zaheer.

I`m nervous about today, especially because of the way we bowled the last two times when we were on the verge of winning tests overseas in SA and NZ. England have a long batting lineup and our bowling can become ordinary very quickly. England still slightly ahead.

I feel Shami is going to be the one who holds the key. He was in good rhythm yesterday and if he can get a couple with the old ball, we will be in the contest. If the game is still on when the new ball is taken, England will win it.
