Irfan Pathan, I cringe every time I see him bowl now.
Hard to believe now he had actually made a wonderful hat trick in his prime.

The ECB are doing a wonderful job in being worst than Football Association. This is like asking Graham Taylor or Steve McClaren to coach the under 21, after the failed to qualify for major tournaments.
Just like Duncan Fletcher left after doing his part, Flower should be GONE!!
People seem to forget the success we had under Flower (yes the last 12-16 months were abysmal) but we had some good success. I have no problem at all with Flower coaching the Lions.

The handling of Finn has clearly been terrible, just like the handling of Anderson in early 2000s.
The guy came in with genuine pace and a golden arm, and after Engalnd's expert coaching he wasn't even bowling well enough to carry the drinks.
Anderson is probably going to finish as England's top wicket taker in tests but he nearly ended up relegated to the county game because some committee of useless asshats decided his action needed "improving".
I wonder just how many potentially great players have been ruined by crap coaching sometimes.
Ah yeah, Jimmy in 03 was very good and then he disappeared for years. It happens for a tonne of guys in English cricket and very few manage to come back. It's testament to Anderson's mental fortitude and physical ability that he managed to come back.
In Ashwin's defence, Anil Kumble in his initial days was as bad with the ball overseas.
What do you mean by that ? You are saying that Binny is useful but he should be kept out of the team because Dhoni doesn't use him ?not because I think he's a terrible cricketer or anything (I have my doubts but he's been useful so far), but Dhoni clearly has no use for him.
I would have agreed with you because your post made sense. But this bit is not true because Kumble had a pretty good start to his overseas career.
Kumble's 24 wickets in his first 4 overseas Tests including a 6 wkt haul. Not a single wicketless match
v/s
Ashwin's 9 wickets in 4 matches with 2 matches going wicketless.
