India in England Jun-Sept 2014

I think the pitch actually has some bounce in it, which is good. Be interesting to see how the extra pace and height of Jordan goes on here. He might be able to get the Indians hopping around on the back foot.

India is back to usual business! I think Dhoni makes choices just to say "to hell with you all, I will make my own decisions even if it is nowhere near logical". The wicket has pace, and they bring in Pankaj Singh when you could have brought in Varun Aaron. And then now the pitch looks good for batting and its going to be hard to pick 20 wkts on this pitch, and you add an extra batsman at the cost of a specialist spinner.

India have been doing this throughout this series. Luckily, England are in a rut right now and thereby gave us the Lord's win. Ian Chappell is completely right (Dravid might disagree with Chappell and Dravid might have this godlike status in India; but I disagree with Dravid). Dhoni HAS TO GO as test captain. And he should take Duncan Fletcher along with him. Sadly, that's not going to happen (for Fletcher, till the WC and Dhoni until he himself hangs up his boots).

This wicket has pace, I must be watching a different game in some other dimension.

Jadeja has been absolutely appalling. He is still in limited overs mood, firing every ball down the leg-side. And the Indians have done very well to bring Cookie back into form.

As the saying goes, "If you're a debutant or out of form, play against India". Problem solved!

Espncricinfo commentary suggests there was something on the Snicko there. What does hotspot say?

This wicket may not be like the Lords greentop but surely is`nt Trent Bridge either. With our lack of energy, we have made it look flatter than it is.

well...looks like everyone has reverted to type lol

It's a bit boring to watch too, there just isn't any competition between bat and ball at the moment

Haven't been able to catch up with the action? Why is Ishant not playing? Injured or dropped!!!!???

Ishant is injured.

That was a beauty from Pankaj Singh. Bell was very lucky there.

Shami has been poor throughout the series. He looked like getting back in rhythm in the second inning of the Lord's test but he has again been poor in this inning.

The bowling has been pretty crappy as well. Anderson and Co will make it look a different wicket.
