The leftie Natarajan what is his background. Looked impressive in the tour match.

This looks a beautiful wicket for batting. There is a bit of movement here and there, but nothing significant to cause trouble. After seeing this, it does make sense that India went in with 5 bowlers. I guess the Sundar decision was influenced by his batting and the fact that Australia have many left handers in their lineup. And Sundar/Shardul should provide a good amount of resistance (hopefully!) with the bat.

Whatever happens here, I am pretty sure India will fight and give it their all. I dont think (from what we've seen till now) that this wicket is going to scare Indian batsman in any manner. There will be pace though (due to the hardness) and I seriously hope India avoids further injuries, especially to the frontline batters who need to take guard at home in a few weeks against England.

Now the struggle starts for India - The Kookaburra ball is older now with inexperienced bowling lineup against the likes of Smith even Labuschange and others too it will be interesting to see how the bowling will fare.

The Kooka will bounce an entire match on a typical Gabba surface. Secret is knowing how to bowl on it.

A big ask for rookie bowlers to contain the quality of Smith & Labuchagne.
