This looks a beautiful wicket for batting. There is a bit of movement here and there, but nothing significant to cause trouble. After seeing this, it does make sense that India went in with 5 bowlers. I guess the Sundar decision was influenced by his batting and the fact that Australia have many left handers in their lineup. And Sundar/Shardul should provide a good amount of resistance (hopefully!) with the bat.
Whatever happens here, I am pretty sure India will fight and give it their all. I dont think (from what we've seen till now) that this wicket is going to scare Indian batsman in any manner. There will be pace though (due to the hardness) and I seriously hope India avoids further injuries, especially to the frontline batters who need to take guard at home in a few weeks against England.
