India tour of England 2018

No matter what happens and the result is of this match, this spell of bowling has been fantastic. Indian bowlers have come a long way since the last tour. Well done and Sharma truly can be called our pace spear head.

There is a lot of debate going around whether Vihari is picked solely as batter or will he bowl more than that one over to bowl some tweaks ? and why Karun Nair is not picked ? My question is what happened to Jayant Yadav? looked really good in the home series against England batted at no. 9 scored couple of fifties bowled some decent off spinners infact was a proper spinner could have been ideal replacement for Ravi Ashwin but has suddenly disappeared after playing handful of test matches.

Seeing this lot if Indian quicks make me wonder even more what could have been..

He even scored a brilliant century !

And, amazing bowling display from our bowlers ! They have given their best and well deservedly got the rewards. Even though Shami hasn't got any wicket, he was amazing too.

Curran gone for a duck, match won.

So how far can England reach from 181/7? I reckon at least 260? If luck plays its part, then maybe even 300+

If Curran doesn't get to you, Buttler could. Still lots happening, and England are already close to 200 with 3 wkts still remaining. They still have Broad to come who can bat.

Anything above 250 and India will be in deep trouble, considering the fragility of their batting lineup.

Well bowled India! Even at tea when they were only 1 down, the bowlers had bowled exceptionally well. This is a brilliant day for India and they would have taken 198 gor 7 at the start. Hopefully now we wrap them up quickly tomorrow and bat England out of the game.

Even though I am not a Karun Nair fan, I do agree that he should have een picked ahead of Vihari because he was picked in the original squad. The only logic that I can think of is when I read couple of news reports, it did state that Vihari looked pretty solid in the net sessions that they had. Sanjar Bangar only corrected his follow through after playing shots but other than that, he was pretty impressive. Now I am not sure how much we can look into net sessions and if that can really translate into the actual match. However, I will be very happy if Vihari does well.

On Jayant Yadav, he got injured after that England series. Once he came back, he wasn't as good as he used to be. However, he still found his mojo and forced his way back into the India A team but hasn't set the stage on fire for him be picked in the national team. I also think Kuldeep and Nadeem are both ahead of him right now in the selector's radar.

New ball only 7 overs old with Curran gone
Rashid/broad/Anderson should be fox by Bumrah and Ishant (22/10/28/3) soon.

228 all out still decent score here if seamers bowls as good as indians.28 extra mostly byes once again too many.

I would say indian bowling domination after lunch - -england managed only 129 in 62 overs for 6 wickets.

I bet you nobody here wants Vihari to fail. Anyone making his debut for any country, you understand the sacrifice and hard work that's gone into getting there for the person. I'm just speaking from Nair's perspective. Bet you, he must have endured a lot himself to get to where he did. He got a triple hundred. How many have in our sport? In his head he has to believe his career is over as long as this fellow is captain..

From a tactical point of view, Moeen made us skip and hop last test. Have a word with any person in the domestic circuit and they will tell you how good Nair is against spin. He could sweep them in his sleep!

India will be beaten here 3rd time on day 5
Because india unlucky on toss matter
Silly me of course that’s all Shastri has to do is quote you after the match

“Forget what happened during the match, we only got beaten cause we lost the toss”

What I meant other than toss is, if ishant and Bumrah bowls so well you can imagine what will happen to 20 Indian wickets vs Jimmy/Broad etc
