It’s the XI that I think most people would have thought would get picked tbf.
Didn't think I'd have long to wait to find out.
That England would win is a foregone conclusion- maybe. we will have a few events like:No sportsbook even for this series ?
I don't know how you look at the England lineup and think it has the capbility to smash even a rather inexperienced Indian side. This series looks another Ashes 2-2 type of deal in my opinion. England's main backup batsmen has never scored a professional century, not exactly a stable lineup in my opinion. + Zak Crawley and Ollie Pope have already used their one big score a summer against Zimbabwe, so England basically head into the series 2 batsmen down already. That England would win is a foregone conclusion- maybe. we will have a few events like:
1. The margin of English victory
2. Number of follow-ons for India
3. Number of 3 day tests

I totally missed Iyer here. Shreyas Iyer in place of Sai will be better.Abhimanyu Easwaran, red ball specialist, scores buckets of runs in FC needs a chance. Gill should be no where near this test side. My first test XI vs England, based on talent, record & form are below. Karun at 5 adds more stability, can do what VVS used to do.
Jaiswal
Rahul
A.Easwaran
S.Sudharshan
K.Nair
Nitesh
Pant
Jaddu
Bumrah
Siraj
P.Krishna
Boom should be the Captain, if he is not interested in that, KL or Pant are the best possible options available.
It really isn’t thoThat England would win is a foregone conclusion- maybe. we will have a few events like:
Anything less than 5-0 hammering would be an upset for an England.
India in a long time looking too weak atleast on paper
Sai Sudharsan is set to make his test debut today and will play at no.3

9.45am With the India XI in question, Nagraj Gollapudi has this scoop for us. Tamil Nadu batter B Sai Sudharsan is set to become India's Test cap number 317. The tall left-hander is likely to bat at No. 3, with Shubman Gill at No. 4 and Rishabh pant at No. 5. Karun Nair, who forced his way into reckoning with strong numbers in domestic cricket, is also set to return into the Test side for the first time in eight years. Nair is likely to bat at No 6. Shardul Thakur will be the allrounder and play the role of the fifth bowler, while Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will share the new ball, the third seamer is likely to be Prasidh Krishna.
England vs India, India in England, 1st Test
I'd say T20to prolong his Test career.
