Genuinely bat Washi thereThe truth is, no one has truly nailed down the No. 3 batting spot for India.

I think you guys are missing the point here. Is resting Bumrah more important than attempting a win and levelling the series? I certainly don't think so. Bumrah's inclusion could help India, but if they aren't going to play him in an important game, he might as well not play at all.
Irrespective,I would give a shot to Easwaran. He was with the team during the Australia tour as well and didn't get a single game. Jaiswal's fluctuating returns aren't helping the side, might as well give Easwaran a free run for the next 2 series.I agree with you. Maybe give Easwaran a try if Nair fails in this one too.
Probably not going to help him. As I mentioned above, I would like to see Easwaran open with KLR for the next couple of series.KN be like : say my name...
That's a pretty good point. But India would have to be a tad patient with him there. I would probably have Gill at 3, followed by Washington at 4. Sudharshan can float at 5.Genuinely bat Washi there
Why not him ?hopefully it isn't NTR Reddy
Tbh I would like to give him a rest, tell him his position is safe unless his replacement hits centuries in every innings. You really want to remove Jaiswal because of this series? The dude who's been our best batter since his debut?
I guess India deserves all the losses they are getting with fans like these.
He is inconsistent and that for an opening batsman isn't good. He gets out to stupid shots and seems unaware of the match situation. Also, note -flat track bully. You really want to remove Jaiswal because of this series? The dude who's been our best batter since his debut?

Think of him as Reetinder Singh Sodhi/ Vijay Shankar, neither here nor there. Not much to contribute. There has been the ocassional flash of brilliance, but that's about it.Why not him ?![]()
Jaiswal isn't going anywhere. In fact, he will soon be part of the team in all 3 formats. Most teams in the world would kill for a batsman like him.Tbh I would like to give him a rest, tell him his position is safe unless his replacement hits centuries in every innings.
I am not saying he is going anywhere I rate him highly I am saying ot would be good to not put too much pressure on the youngster amd give them rest here and there.Jaiswal isn't going anywhere. In fact, he will soon be part of the team in all 3 formats. Most teams in the world would kill for a batsman like him.
Australia are still waiting for Matt Renshaw to come back strongerThe best way to ruin a young batsman is to drop them
I am not saying drop Jaiswal. The best way to ruin a young batsman is to drop them
Who will he replace in T20 ?he will soon be part of the team in all 3 formats
What I meant to say was that he is a 3-format player. He may replace Abhishek Sharma (whenever he is injured/out of form) or take the other opening slot. But I would not slot him anywhere else in the team.Who will he replace in T20 ?
