Unlucky Yuvraj! He was given out caught (the umpire raised his finger after the catch was taken) when the ball didnt hit the bat at all. And also the Hawkeye says that the ball was missing the off stump (in which case, benefit should have gone to the batsman). And now it says "Yuvraj LBW Ryder". What a confusion!!

Oh well... Still that wasnt out as it was missing off stump.
201/5. Dravid needs to move on faster here. Its Dhoni now and then the tail comes in (starting from Bhajji). Seeing the way this wicket is playing, it has more in it for the bowlers than the last few ones. So Dravid should get a move on and try to score more runs. He should be quite confident in the middle by now.

Whoa, what play! That ball was as short as I've ever seen, it didn't exactly get up and Dravid looked to have beaten the hell out of it, but he pulled it straight to square leg! The door is open for NZ.

India will pull through this again. Dhoni will get a captain's ton here, Harbhajan-Zaheer will help him get India to 300-320, maybe even 350.

Horror of horrors! Dravid plays a great aggressive shot and it landed straight into the fielder's hands. Dravid would feel justified with his decision to bat slowly till then but unfortunately he has to go back to the pavilion.
It feels irritating that our batting starts looking shaky whenever there is a slight little bit of juice in it and the conditions are slightly favoring to the bowlers. We got to change that. We have changed the habit of being "sitting ducks" abroad. We got to change this now. For that, we got to play more and more in very tough conditions and I dont see that happening in near future with T20 cricket booming.
Edit: Harbhajan starts off promisingly here! Bhajji, re-live that Sydney test batting here please. We need to get out of this. A score of 350 (and getting past the first day) would be good to defend.

How come the Kiwi guys are wearing just short-sleeved shirts and no pullovers or sweaters in that extreme cold? 
Anywayy, real poor performance by India. Laxman and Yuvi's wicket turned the whole game upside down. Still, we have a chance. Vajji and Zak are yet to come to the crease, and they know the art of batting pretty well. 300 will not be a bad score in this type of a wicket when you have guns like Zaheer and Ishant.

Its 20 degrees (I guess Celsius). For India, it might be cold but I guess for NZ, they are used to such temperatures that they dont need the sweaters

71.5 Vettori to Harbhajan, 1 run, Atrocious shot! slow delivery outside off, Harbhajan couldn't resisit it, slog sweeps, the top edge falls in no man's land at mid wicket, if Harbhajan had holed out there, every one in the dressing room would have been queuing up to smack him

Im not sure if Dhoni has said anything but he needs to mention to Harbhajan that the series is not over and this partnership is crucial don't do stupid crap.

That's gotta be the most lucky and hideous fifty i've seen in a good while. I really don't like Harbhajan. Vettori's gotta stop bowling pies. All very well attacking but he's overdoing it. He's lost his patience after all those times he beat him and it didn't go to hand.
