Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Varun Aaron bowling with control. Oh how much I have wished for that sight in the past few years.

Kuldeep again missing out is definitely a concern. He hasn't been that great in this IPL so far and he is a confidence player. If he is down on confidence, he is likely to struggle.

There is certain animosity between Kohli & Ashwin. It's all over social media more or less.

I actually didn't see Kohli's reaction just until now and TBH, it was disgraceful. There are a lot of players in the world who give send-offs but I haven't seen someone who does it with as much consistency as Kohli does. I think that is the only thing I dislike about him. As I said, there are many players who does that but none of them are captain of their side. He abuses batsmen no matter if he is playing International cricket or IPL after the batsman gets out. Ashwin has started doing the same thing now which is not good to see. When they are playing international cricket, sometimes their passion takes over and in the heat of the moment, they might go overboard. So once in a while is fine but doing it every-time a batsman get out is just pathetic and Kohli has been doing this for years which is frustrating to see considering he is probably the most followed cricketer among all the age group.

I think Kuldeep is burnt out. It's good to just send him to Greece or Italy or some place where cricket is gibberish.

I agree with your post about Kohli. Him and Ashwin have been poor all IPL!

The Kohli reaction after Ashwin got out was outrightly pathetic and you are right he is been doing this for year and whats surprising is that commentators are praising his actions not only in the IPL but also overseason , remember in the Austrlia series where FOX was the Australian channel the likes of Warne and Gilchrist were sort of encouraging citing out Kohli's emotion after getting a wicket pure passion and love for the game.

Andre Russel has been really struggling with his wrist of late and it's been going on for about 4-5 games now. He appears to be in big pain and I wonder what the WI board might be feeling with the WC coming up shortly.

Terrible selection by KKR. DK is also back to his madness as far as running between the wickets is concerned.

Poor, poor decision by Smith. A guy having 11+ rpo in IPL 2019 is bowling the 20th over. Literally anyone else would have been a better choice.

He missed it :facepalm

Anyways a very good innings under sheer pressure. They needed their Captain to deliver and there he is

Probably the second best inning of this IPL after that Pollard inning considering how much of a mess KKR was in. Unadkat is so bad man it's not even funny anymore.

Not only them, even in IPL the commentators just say that it's his passion and emotion. It is partially true but sometimes it gets a bit too much. Maybe they are afraid if they say something, it might trigger the Indian fan base.

6 losses in a row now for KKR - their weakness are horribly exposed this year over reliance on couple of players and just too much inexperience in the squad.
