Yeah, but I feel it is pretty unlikely. I am sure that both teams will play with the knowledge of knowing what they need to do to retain their Top 4 spots and considering their form in this season so far, I dont see a big loss happening. But yeah, this is T20 and I can be wrong.

I will be rooting hard for Delhi tomorrow to win and finish in the Top 2. Gives them two bites at the final and despite their meltdown in the last 4 games, they deserve it. I feel SRH and KKR have looked almost equally mediocre, and I dont mind either one of them going to the playoffs. If both can sneak in at the expense of RCB, I would be delighted (sorry RCB fans but you'll know my dislike for your captain)!

Unless we have something like the farce at the EURO 2004 football tournament where two teams decided to play the exact scoreline for both of them to go through, I don't see the chasing side being so magnanimous to win later in the game as we have seen plenty of teams miss their mark in a run chase due to late hiccups.

Why?

I should clarify that I do not want Kohli to win any IPL trophies, it would only boost his ego and make life more miserable for Indian fans. He is out right atrocious captain. He is a beast in batting, no questions on that, its his people management and leadership skill that I am not comfortable. If he goes on to win an IPL trophy, he will have that evil ego that would show in the dressing room.

Again can be wrong but it is what I feel.

It seems people dislike Kohli more than they love AB or me on the forum.

The image of AB with his head in his cap with tears dripping down in Auckland is a sight which will pain me for life. The only way it can perhaps ease that pain is an IPL/WC trophy.

My personal feeling is RCB will lose by 80-90 runs tomorrow and get knocked out. There could be rain as well in a desert that just does something unthinkable. Just RCB/SA things!

I have a very busy day tomorrow but I am sure my heart rate will be up for other reasons through out the day.

I feel my hatred for Kohli the captain is due to the fact that he completely demoralizes players playing around him. Because he bats so well, his altar ego causes people to fear him. I cannot think of 1 person who would hate ABD, that guy has his own aura. Also when Dhoni was captaining, we have groomed so many players that play for Indian cricket currently. Kohli with his constant cropping and chopping has ruined many careers than making one. For 2+ years now we are still struggling with number 4 position. Which country would have a coach and captain lead a team this way?

I feel even the Kedar Jadhav we see now is Kohli's doing. He was playing well in the WC. He was not batted in a position he would be usually with his constant lineup changes. Probably dent his confidence and covid did him no good. The only reason I will be ok with RCB lifting the trophy is for ABD and no one else. ABD should come back to SA for T20 WC, win them the cup and have a cup with his name.

Haha, thank you! Have had my moments My activity has been up and down. Work, wife and almost got bored of Indian cricket caused me to leave and come back.

Could Delhi have taken a punt on Lamichhane for today's game knowing Kohli and AbD are unlikely to target a leggie? Unlikely given that he hasn't played a game this season but going with no wrist spinner after being torn apart in the middle overs in two games is a bold call.

Ashwin bowled beautifully to get Kohli there. No matter how scratchy he has been this season, today was an excellent performance from him with the ball.

Bowling out Ashwin and Axar for almost 6 runs per over is a win for Delhi. Abd is going to be crucial with only 6 overs remaining. I feel if ABD gets into his gear, they can get 80-90 runs in the last 6. Which means 170-180 for RCB.

Pressure on AbD is enormous at the moment with Padikkal looking visibly fatigued for not the first time this season. Nortje has looked off colour tonight, could he be the one to leak runs?
