Indian Premier League - General Discussion

No point for either Mumbai or RCB to chase tomorrow! We will exactly know what they will do if they win their respective tosses. :D

KKR were pretty sensational today. They have beaten RCB, DC and MI in this second leg while almost pulling it off against CSK. They look best placed to win the Eliminator against RCB (most likely; barring a massive miracle).

I get a feel that with this victory KKR will be a bit complacent (often happens when you win by such big margins). So probably RCB might go to Qualifier 2 and eventually lose to DC/CSK.

So got my calculations on, this is the least scenario for MI's qualification. (While chasing, even 51 in 2 overs would only mean an NRR of 0.34.

So RCB v KKR it is.

MI will need a victory margin of more than 150 runs to qualify. If they bat secosn, their best bet would be to topple SRH for 30/40-even then its difficult for them to get through.

171 runs actually! And if MI are asked to chase, they are immediately knocked out.

I wouldn't mind a crazy game today. We have had very few ones like these- the McCullum 158 Gayle 175, MI chase in 13 overs; over the previous seasons.

Realistically, for this situation to happen, MI needs atleast 230 on board.

I am hoping that SRH win the toss and bat first. Crush them at the start. Happy to see their back.

In all fairness, I would love to see a different champion other than the usual culprits- CSK & MI.

I was rooting for the Capitals last years and would have this year too, had they re-instated Shreyas as captain. Feel a tad unfair that he wasnt brought back. That said, I am very keen on seeing KKR add to their tally here.

The miracle is now batting at 6. This same KKR side was practically mauled to shreds in the first leg of the season by that miracle.

CSK for the title for me. Since I am supporting RCB and CSK, I predict DC vs KKR for the finals.
