After seeing this kind of money, I can see BCCI expanding the IPL to multiple months, possibly promising other boards some compensation to reduce their international fixtures.

Viacom have made a new OTT called Paramount + and I think it will be available there instead. The app isnt released in India yet though

The names of the winners have not been disclosed yet by the IPL authorities as the e-auction is still in progress with bidders contesting for the final two packages: Package C (digital rights for India subcontinent for a special bouquet of matches) and Package D (rest of world). Consequently, the overall worth of the IPL rights for the next cycle will see a change too.

Waiting to see who wins 'Package D' (overseas rights for the rest of the world). I hope IPL can stay with ESPN+ (which is now part of the Disney+Hulu), which means that Star needs to win it. Seriously dont want to subscribe to a new platform just for IPL

Times Internet (who own Cricbuzz, Willow TV) has won Package D for USA. Which means, Willow is getting back the IPL exclusively and no ESPN+ for the next 5 years. Not the best news from a reach perspective within US, but good news for those who retained their Willow subscriptions. Just hope Willow doesn't ask separate money for IPL access. Kinda confident that they will hike up their monthly subscription prices.
