Good stuff from both Mithun and Ishant. Both these guys have stuck up there bravely with Laxman and given India some respectability. On this day, the star tail ender Bhajji failed but these two have batted really well. Hope both of them play the next two tests.

Edit: Oh damn! Of all kinds of dismissals, a RUN OUT HERE!!! Laxman gone! We are close to defeat.

Not yet. Just one test is over. We can still be No.1 at the end of it if we can win a test and draw a test.

Malinga bowling the over and everyone wants Malinga not to take the wicket. Reminds me of the Kotla test in 1999 between India-Pakistan where everyone wanted Srinath not to take the 10th wicket since Anil Kumble was on 9 wickets and close to a perfect ten.

Will Ishant survive this Murali over? I am following this! Tense, for sure. Come on Ishant, survive it and give yourself to Malinga.

Here, he is Sri Lankan. The tail enders are frustrating Sri Lanka here quite well. Not easy pickings here for SL. If our top batsmen did the same, we wouldnt have been in this position.
