Indian Tour of Sri Lanka & Triangular Series, July-August 2010

UDRS

Why is India against using UDRS in the Sri Lanka Series?

Is India not going to accept UDRS for any other series?

UDRS makes sense to me and seems like players won't feel done in by bad umpiring.

All in all UDRS will make the game fairer I think.

I don't see any reason for dropping a player who got a century ATM, why would they drop Raina for a fail.

They don't want to use it because SL doesn't have the hot spot technology yet. They feel if your gonna rely on technology then you have to use the best kind. The ICC said the country boards have to get the technology themselves but the boards want the ICC to pay for it.

Kane Williamson in some great form now, 117 yesterday and Kyle Mills with 4 wickets.

^what? Is this the place or was it a joke?

I am not sure what you're talking about.

If you're trying to say this is the wrong thread to post: read in the title.

The upcoming Triangular Series with Sri Lanka, New Zealand and India will be discussed in this thread as well.

Williamson looks in good form for this series :) Good to see Watling in the runs too. The top few batsmen have basically secured their spots now. Elliott hasn't played too well however...

Good to see Williamson continuing his good form. NZ started off quite rusty during the first game when they nearly lost but they're looking good and ready.

Looking at that scorecard, I thought for a second that Mills and McKay opened the batting and that Ingram came in at 11. :laugh Then had a proper look through and saw that wasn't the case.

Mills and McKay probably have better technique than Ingram :p

whats up with the scorecard??, looks like barry and marissa need to learn how to score properly :p

I'm not surprised the review system isn't being used, the broadcast itself is pretty cheap, not even widescreen or HD, looks like it's from the early 90's.

there were news that Srilanka lack the technology for it. I agree with you as far as broadcast is concerned but I prefer watching highlights on net.
