India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

Hope Hughes gets out of danger. Its weird to see that a guy is battling for his life after being hit by a bouncer, in today's generation of helmets and protection.

Umesh Yadav finds Kohli a lot more "chilled out" compared to MSD

“It’s definitely a different atmosphere under Virat. He’s like one of the guys. Being of the same age group helps and talking to him, discussing your problems becomes really easy. Don’t get me wrong. Dhoni bhai also keeps a very open channel for dialogue, but since he is such a senior player we are always a bit reserved around him. With Kohli it seems chilled out. You can be frank about stuff,” Umesh Yadav told starsports.com before leaving for Australia.

Sad times for Australian cricket. Heart goes out to the family of Hughes. To die like that on the cricket field is very gut wrenching. Hope Sean Abbott can let it go and live peacefully.

The whole of the Australian team should be asked whether they're mentally ready to go back to playing cricket after such a tragedy, forget the cricket boards, broadcasters, sponsors etc...it's the players that matter.

It definitely should be upto the players if they wish to take field. There might also be a situation where some players are willing to go ahead with the match, while others are not ready yet. Wonder what happens in such a scenario.

If the test is indeed cancelled, they should inform BCCI asap so the Indian players can atleast go home to their families for a week or so, if they wish to. Since it will be almost 2 weeks until the 2nd Test. They wouldn't want to be confined to their hotel rooms and nets

I'd imagine that if the test is cancelled; they'd schedule a warmup game or something in its place: the one this weekend was cancelled and they'd need something before the "Second" Test

Its definately upto the players to decide whether they can move to field and concentrate on the game rather than to think of the tragedy incident.Though the series will be always in the players hands [Like the West Indies players].

Yes they should and even if they do decide to play the first test, it would be nice if they name this series as the Phil Hughes Trophy rather than the Border Gavaskar. Ironically, the man himself would have wanted the cricket to go on.
