Well to answer Untouchable's argument about Pujara being unable to score a century, that 96 was a not out innings on a tough pitch. We won with 2 wkts to spare. So thats equivalent to a century innings (if century is the criterion to judge the player). For me, Pujara produced consistent performances in West Indies during that series and produced some real good knocks (the best one was obviously that 96*).
Regarding Rohit vs Manoj, Manoj should have been playing from the last game itself. He is long overdue a good opportunity. Dhoni backed Rohit in Australia at the expense of one of the opening trio (the infamous rotation policy), and said he was backing a youngster. Well now, Manoj is also a youngster and its a competition between two youngsters. Rohit has been failing continuously and its time Manoj gets a shot. I would say Manoj is as excellent a fielder as Rohit (in fact far more safer hands than Rohit who has developed butter fingers recently). And if they give Manoj a chance, give him an extended chance (of atleast 10-15 ODI's). If Rohit and Raina deserve it, why not Manoj?
