india happy to see the back of gough as this partnership was really irritating india....they were getting runs at a good rate and the reqd rate was just 5.8 an over...if gough wud have stayed england cud have still had a chance...looks tough now!!

the worms of the two sides...england were always above india's rate but kept losing wickets

and there u can c...only two partnerships of any consequence was what caused england's downfall!!

so a gr8 start for india....england will have to rethink their strategy and have to come back quickly as it's only a 3 match series!! so stay tuned for match 2 very soon!! goodbye for now!!

Hey rahulm5 in the above picture of A.Strauss, he is batting on 22 from 14 balls and the no. of boundries is 6. How is this possible??

thats a bug...wherein after every boundary the boundary column shows one more than the actual number....therefore in strauss' case it is actually 5 fours.

thanx for the comments!! and yup that bug always appears...really weird...ea havnt even managed to get the simple things right!!

second match first innings is complete...i'm gonna post details in a day or two.....all i can say is india won the toss and surprisingly elected to field first on a normal wicket.....( actually did that so that i get better competition as the cpu never seems to chase the big scores)

Hello and Welcome to the 2nd ODI of the Inida Vs England Series....this is a crucial match for England...they have to win to stay in the series......India had a convincing win in the last match and their spirits are quite high...but Micheal Vaughan feels his team can bounce back!!

India have won the toss and surprisingly on a normal wicket have elected to bowl first...very bold decision from Saurav ganguly....it's quite chilly out there so probably ganguly expects his bowlers to get some swing early on....this decsion shows how confident Ganguly has become with his new breed of fast bowlers!!

England's team...just 1 change...Chris Read has been dropped and Gerraint jones comes in to add some solidity to the batting....

Indian side....just 1 change for india as well.....zaheer khan looked out of sorts in the first odi...he's been replaced by Aashish Nehra

Trescothick of 2 a good start...he smashes 1 straight down the ground....England need to him to get a big 1 if they have to beat india 2day!

Trecothick's gone...big wicket...tryed to pull 1 away but cudnt beat square leg!!

Strauss follows trescothck as well....he goes to exactly the same shot as trescothick....loks like england are not judging the bounce of the wicket!!
