Totally agree. Really disappointed by The Hobbit films, nothing will ever beat 'The Fellowship Of The Ring' in my opinion.

While its hard to look at the movies objectively without the LOTR hangover, if you do then the Hobbit movies are not a bad experience. Its fantastic to look at and really succeeds as an out-an-out adventure flick. It does have one too many subplots, but I personally have enjoyed the movies overall. Looking forward to the final one. It will never make it to my movie collection (unlike the epic LOTR trilogy), but will probably be worth watching on the big screen

Under The Skin - really weird movie ! Had a very eerie feeling, and hardly 40-50 lines of dialogue. Plus most of the dialogues were in a thick Scottish accent, so it was hard to follow :P I did keep me curious till the end as to what the fk was going on .. and then ended as abruptly as it had started. ScaJo gave a neat performance. Would recommend it if you like weird movies :|

Hobbit 3 - easily the best of the 3 hobbit movies

Absolutely LOVED it. The editing issues the first two movies had were fixed. 30 minutes into the movie, the battle starts and it is an absolute thrill ride. The battle scenes and fight choreography is fab. Middle Earth looks as magnificent as it ever has.

And the emotional ending is the icing on the cake.

Watched it in 3D (dint have a choice) - dint contribute much to the movie and would have loved to watch it in non-3D

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy after all the hype I heard about it. Really good film, worth a watch.

Also, has anyone else seen the new "Jurassic World" trailer, it looks amazing!! Really looking forward to watching it.

I've seen it and yeah it's looks lovely. However, there were some negatives detected by scientists if I'm not wrong so hoping it comes all okay in the end.

Got more of a nostalgic effect on me. I remember watching the old Jurrasic Park movies as a child, and want to see if it is comparable to the older version.

That's what messed it up for me lol. It felt like a generic monster movie instead of an event movie that Jurassic Park was. I must have watched it a couple dozen times. The biggest plus on the first JP was the human characters and the plot, besides the fabulous looking dinosaurs

I hope the newbie director is able to bring back the magic, instead of turning this into a run-of-the-mill monster movie

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Wow. Acting was alright, nothing special, but everything else was just spectacular from start to finish. There wasn't a dull moment despite the length of the film. The plot was gripping. I thought the first movie was amazing, but this outdid that in every way, which goes to show how good it is. Can't wait for the next one!

Gone Girl: Wow! If you haven't seen this... Everything about this movie is amazing. I haven't read the book so I don't know how well it has been adapted, but I liked the movie on its own.

One of the best of the year. Rosamund Pike was absolutely brilliant.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Hilarious! Chris Pratt was amazing. Dave Bautista was so funny as well, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket too. The casting in general for this movie was superb. The action was great, and everything looks really good too. There aren't any dull points in the movie, although I wasn't fully invested in the whole Ronan storyline because the threat of what he could do never actually happened, not even a little bit. Looking forward to the sequel though, as there is still a lot of story left in this.
