sorry guys! i haven't updated it in a while, i might get an update in this week but i got SAT's this week and i've been revising. :(. just to let you know i've played the next two matches anyway, just got to do a write up

But they are optional in year 9, but most schools force it on you anyway! I had to do mine last year. (I'm in year 10 now doing my GCSEs)

It was a very attacking first half for Leeds and they dominated the game. In the 25th minute Filipe Da Costa intercepted a poor pass from the Hartlepool defence and shot from outside the box and slotted the ball into the top corner. 13 minutes later some awful defending led to Leeds' 2nd goal. A terrible back pass went straight to Leon Constantine and he kept up his good form putting it past the keeper as calm and collected as he could be.

In the Second half nothing much changed. Leeds took the same approach as the 1st half and took their football to a whole new level. Some slick passing and moving proved to bewilder the Hartlepool and the expressions on Danny Wilson's face showed it. In the 69th minute wonderkid Henri Saivet took on the back four and placed the shot past Budtz to make it 3-0 to Leeds. Saivet was on top form in the game and was making all the chances. With a minute to go til injury time Saivet kept his cool to get his 2nd and secure a comfortable victory against Hartlepool. A very impressive start to Dr. Pepper's season.

Post-Match Interview:

Reporter: "A great start to season Doctor, how do you feel?"

Dr. Pepper: "Great! I couldn't have asked for more from my team. They played beautiful football like I wanted them too and they got a brilliant result. We played as a team and showed that by passing the ball round to everyone. It's a great start to the season and I hope for every game to be like this. Hartlepool couldn't handle our playing style so hopefully the lads will play like this every week."

R: "Henri Saivet scored two goals on his competitive debut for Leeds, what did you make of him from this game?"

DP: "He played exceptionally well. He was making every oppurtunity, either for himself or for his team mates. He got what he deserved and he scored the two goals in real style. We have high hopes for the kid and I'm positive he can perform like this for the rest of the season."

R: "Leon Constantine was also a stand out player. He did well in pre-season aswell. What do you think of him?"

DP: "Leon played great, he got another goal to his name and continued the form he showed in pre-season. He is a clinical finished and every team needs a player like him, no matter who he plays along side he is capable of scoring. He is a very composed player and because of his composure he was able to put the ball past the keeper. If Leon and Henri can play like they did, the whole team can play like they just did for that matter we can easily get promotion back to the Championship."

ok guys i need your help now. should i keep doing detailed reports but them being less frequent or should i do shorter, more frequent reports?

do like 3 or 4 games in one update with the just the score and then a paragraph on each

Port Vale vs Leeds Utd-League Cup 1st round

Leeds dominated the whole game creating 8 chances. The Port Vale goalkeeper Goodland put up a good fight all game but Leon Constantine's casual finish in the 16th minute was enough to seal a one sided game. In the final few seconds of the game Paul Huntington went into an unnecessary, wreckless challenge leaving the referee with the option of sending him off. Paul Huntington is now suspended domestically for one game which is in the League against Carlisle.
Final Score:
Port Vale 0-1 Leeds Utd

A very close but attacking game right to final whistle. Both teams pressed forward but the defenders played a key role today, if they had left their guard down we could've seen a very different outcome. Unfortunately the Carlisle defenders did let their guard down in the 65th minute when Manu Sanchez tackled the defender and sent the keeper the wrong way giving Leeds a goal lead. It was the only goal of a close game but enjoyable game.
Final Score:
Carlisle 0-1 Leeds Utd

Nice results there, Constantine looks in good shape and its nice to see you got through your Cup game. Saivet is a well known FM player and will definately bag you some goals this campaign.
KIU!

Leeds Utd vs Northampton-League 1

Leeds(24th): W W
Northampton(4th): D W
Paul Huntington returned from suspension for Leeds today and played a key role in the game. In the 25th minute Filipe Da Costa crossed the corner outside the box straight to the hitman Leon Constantine who fired the ball into the bottom right hand corner. Northampton had plenty of chances to level the game but Ankergren was in top form, stopping everything that came to him. Some brilliant passing set up Henri Saivet in the 43rd minute but his fearsome shot was saved and Leeds couldn't convert the rebound. It was a very uneventful second half which showed how tight the game was. Leeds played very different in the second half, they stayed back and let Northampton come and attack them and Huntington kept his nerve to make some crucial tackles. Three wins out of three for Leeds in the league.
Final Score:
Leeds 1-0 Northampton
