28.08.2007 Chesterfield vs Leeds Utd-League 1 after Jonny Howson's brilliant display last night, taking us to wembley he's starting.
Leeds went into this game expecting to go through to the 3rd easily but it was Chesterfield who had the first chance. An intercepted pass forced Ankergren to make a fine save. In the 38th minute Filipe Da Costa's corner was powerfully headed into the back of the net by centre back Rui Marques. After two bad tackles both Leon Constantine and Henri Saivet were subbed at half time. Tore Andre Flo and Jermaine Beckford replaced them. A long ball went straight to Beckfords feet and his shot was excellently saved by Chesterfields keeper. In the 86th minute Beckford had a chance to seal the game after a brilliant pass by Douglas but his shot was parried by the Chesterfield goalkeeper. Final Score:
Chesterfield 0-1 Leeds Utd
Nice comfortable 2-0 win at home to Darlington there!

01.09.2007 Pepper Manager of The Month
Leeds manager Dr. Pepper has been named League 1 Manager of The Month for August. Pepper has made his players show fine form winning all three matches. Pepper's team have scored 6 goals and conceded 0. They have been on top form and would've been in 1st place if it wasn't for their 15 point deduction at the beginning of the season, because of this they are in 24th.
01.09.2007 Crewe vs Leeds Utd-League 1
Leeds Utd were without 16 year old hitman Henri Saivet due to the injury he picked up in their last game. The game had barely got underway and the Leeds defence was caught napping, some great play by Crewe but it wasn't finished thanks to a brilliant save by Ankergren. In the 11th minute Huntington brought down Maynard in the box and Graham Horwood pointed to the spot without hesitation. Maynard took a deep breath and sent Ankergren the wrong way. Brilliantly slotted in the left hand corner. Leeds had conceded their first game of the season and Crewe had scored their first of the season. Leeds finally had their first chance in the 31st minute with Manu Sanchez cutting in from the right hand side only for his shot to be parried by Williams. Dr. Pepper couldn't take it anymore and brought on a half aware Henri Saivet for Jermaine Beckford. Saivet made an immediate impact with a soaring shot saved but Constantine was their for the rebound. In the 58th minute Constantine's cross went into the centre of the box and Saivet was their for a superb header. Leeds were in front. Leeds kept the ball and made sure they weren't to be bothered for the match. Final Score:

everyone loves saivet lol. Well it's no surprise to be honest. We clearly showed how important Saivet is in the last game vs crewe. had one chance then he came on and scored and assisted.

Bdw is Saivet rated as the future Henry in CM as well?? Keep trying to sign him in FM but he declines saying he is too young to consider moving.
well he isn't called a "wonderkid" but a lot of people who've bought him say he's brilliant! it's shocking you can't get him in FM. did you approach to sign him?
I did try to sign him (as Valencia coach) and so did one of my mates (as Barcelona coach) on the same network game. I told you the reason already. I have had to settle for Carlos Vela instead and am looking forward to young prodigy Aaron.
08.09.2007 Leeds Utd vs Doncaster-League 1
It was a boring start to the game and it was Doncaster who went ahead. In the 38th minute Stock put the ball into the box for Matthew Mills to header in to the goal. Once again Pepper brought on Saivet at half time hoping for him to restore the game. Leeds pressed forward throughout the rest of the match but Doncaster's defence held still to fend off the menacing attacks. Leeds first defeat of the season. Final Score:
