@ Chewie - I'm not really competing in any for the time being anyway.

I gave the wrestling one a pass for a couple of reasons, one because I hate wrestling (I know it doesn't really matter), two because I didn't really have time to fully read over stuff in the Patient 9 one, and three because I'd already competed in a couple back-to-back (so I wanted a little break). I am still kind of following it though, seeing who gets voted off etc.

For Varun's Pokemon one I might return, because it'll be hard to give my favourite TV show/hobby/what ever you want to call it (from a few years back) a miss.

Yeah, I was thinking of starting it soon, but I was going to let Varun start his first.

I'm going to skip the pokemon mafia so I can focus on running my game.

I'll probably write up my first update thing soon. I might open the thread after I get confirmation from Ollie as to what's happening.

I don't know. I am free all this april so it shouldn't require much effort in running the game during late april - early may. I have all the roles written too, so I can't really tell what's best. Though I'm slightly inclined to me running the Pokemon mafia after the Wrestling one.

I need opinions for some of the rules of the Pokemon mafia.

1. Should I reveal full roles on death scenes?

2. Should I provide write ups only for flavor (which I've currently decided to), or provide hints as well? (I'm not in favor of providing much hints about the roles in the game as it vindicates some role-claims like MaD did of ARay in the simpsons mafia.)

Your choice, but I loved the way how Chez did it. It was also to do with the interesting things HP mafia had. Man, Pokemon mafia is gonna be awesome, if you manage to do it as well though. There's so much to it. BTW, when are you planning to put up the thread?

So, basically I've decided to not reveal the full roles on death scenes - only alignments and characters and will provide the write ups for flavor and something special.

Yeah it's personal preference, some like writeups and other prefer none, although looking back at the feedback I think more people prefer less hints, but a balance between the 2 is the best, which LL did in Lost mafia, so try something like that

I completely agree with User, if you run the Pokemon mafia well it can turn out to be awesome. There is indeed so much to be done. Good luck mate.
