Maybe but it gets a tad complicated. One game at a time is a good going.

We've had two games run at a time before, usually they overlap so the beginning of one coincides with the end of another (like we do at the moment anyway) but if you start running two games at exactly the same time then not only do people end being confused by the games but it also just gets to be overkill.

Which is why you saw a lack of activity in the mafia games for a while because everyone had had enough. Also running one game at a time means you can have the biggest set of players possible which really allows for more variation in roles and higher quality rather than two smaller games.

I mean it would be possible for people to run a smaller game coinciding with a larger game when the majority of one game are out but it's all down to personal preference.

Being the guy that gave mafia it's re-birth on the forum I prefer to see one game at a time because it means you get higher quality of play, more people involved and everyone doesn't get tired of it so quickly.

What's up with the lack of Vanilla townies in the games at the moment too? Less experienced modders seem to be handing out roles left right and centre and I would like to see the rejuvenation of the good ol' vanilla.

I personally would hate to get vanilla. Even a small insignificant role is better.

Being a Vanilla is all part of the game, I can see why modders may want to have everyone with a role but Vanilla's do have a place in the game and seeing none in the recent two games hurts my feelings.

Don't worry, I do have a few vanilla townie roles in mine. But yeah, I actually do prefer to be a vanilla townie, and play my best when I am one. In all the games where I've been townie, the only one apart from my first 2 where I played like ████, the only one I've played badly in is WWE mafia as I was the cop. I found it hard to utilize the role apart from the downfall of p23456789 but then it just got confusing.

Yeah I honestly feel like as the vanilla townie you have much more of a free license and if you play it well it's sometimes more enjoyable than a 'power' role. it's people who don't agree with this that make me cry myself to sleep at night.

Well night roles can be misleading. Like when the godfather turns up townie, then you can think that they are townie while if you were a vanilla townie, you'd be suspicious of them and nothing you gained in your night role would change that. But yeah, I have more fun actually being a vanilla townie. WWE mafia was probably my least enjoyable game.

Or roles that aren't much and don't impact on what you think, like a Reviver or double voter, I don't mind having them roles.

I agree with Ollie that being vanilla is better. With a night-role, you have extra responsibilty to use it wisely for your allegiance. With a vanilla, all you have to foucus on is the manner of the other players' game. Much more fun, tbh.

Smurf, vanilla surely is an important part for someone who knows how to play with such a role. Some members think it as a waste role and don't bother. That is the thing, I think modders keep in mind. I agree with Ollie though, there ought to vanilla townies in one form or the other to make it interesting.
