Mafia: Discussion, History and Waiting List Thread

Would anyone be up for a Futurama game? I've got the basic premise down at the moment and roles sorted though I'd obviously like someone with experience of running games to have a look over them when I'm ready to see if it'll be balanced and what not.

Still early in production but I thought I might as well make it known now as there's a hefty waiting list. I realise that its specifically stated you should have played more than one game, and as of yet I haven't, but by then I will have and I do have a very good understand of the game.

Anyone who wants to run his game after Wild West mafia and before mine?

I'm running an Amusement Park mafia btw. Have got a decent game setup in mind.

@MaD - please can you provide the description for Video Game Mafia.

It was a pretty hectic game with a lot of solid activity from everyone during the first few phases. Bevab got himself lynched off on Day 1 after a highly ambitious roleclaim which was countered by Chewie. Colin was next to get the ball rolling, getting caught off by Zohaib who was cop, getting lynched by the town. The mafia finally managed a kill with Chewie however Varun was lynched off in the next day after a weak claim. Themer was caught on Day 4 and Smurf almost went down with him however MaD decided to add a twist and confused everyone. Smurf regained the Mafia kill role, since they lost it after Bevab died and were killing by Themer's poison ability, and took out 6 town players, almost heading to victory however a bulletproof vest left Maney and Spoobir as the survivors. Writeups were confusing and ambiguous but that made for all the better. Everyone had some sort of a role and MaD was a bastard, was a fun game, for most.

I've got in exams starting in two weeks, so I definitely won't be running mine before then (and I won't be participating in any games as well).

I think where I am in the waiting list atm (third) is fine for me, because after exams I'll need some time to work on the roles etc.

I haven't done my roles yet and have just started Year 12 but I'll decide closer to the date whether I will run it next.
