I have a feeling it'll be India v Pakistan final. Of course, Bangladesh have been so well on their land, but this time it will be a completely different format. I said format because Zimbabwe recently bounced back from 2-0 down to level the 4 match T20 series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. India are moving strongly in T20Is, and Pakistan may have a chance if SL still miss out Mathews, Malinga, Herath, etc their big players during Asia Cup.
Tbh, Malinga is done.

Well he has had a poor time last year, but T20 is just his thing or his thing is just T20. I smell he will do well. Otherwise SL may still have Mathews, Herath & Mendis(?) in their comeback pack, which will turn Sri Lanka into a totally different team and fairly stronger one than the team they're at current stage.

1st asia cup t20, India is surely favorites... but i want to see some good matches from associates... Pakistan can be a big challenge to India, thanks to PSL...

The mere fact that this is a T20 Asia Cup takes the seriousness away from the game. I agree that it would be an excellent preparation for the forthcoming World Cu; however, to play such a tournament over a large number of days is sheer madness. I also don't understand as to why the 8 teams aren't playing together. There isn't any need for a qualifying tournament- especially when the format is T20.

I don't see that happening because Pakistan are not only inconsistent but their squad is filled with a group of inexperienced players who have yet to do anything at the highest level.

Sri Lanka v India with India winning it. Book it!

Sri Lanka squad- Lasith Malinga (capt), Angelo Mathews (vice-capt), Dinesh Chandimal, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Niroshan Dickwella, Shehan Jayasuriya, Milinda Siriwardana, Dasun Shanaka, Chamara Kapugedera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dushmantha Chameera, Thisara Perera, Sachithra Senanayake, Rangana Herath, Jeffrey Vandersay

No Rajitha
Who ruin Indian party at Kanpur in his debut match 4/1/9/4
This team has talent to beat India in Asia cup[DOUBLEPOST=1455837739][/DOUBLEPOST]Team who not play continue cricket suffer, so Pakistan most likely not reach to semi or beaten in semi

Oh boy, AFG lose to UAE in the opening qualifier

Oman should win their game against HK - dont see HK chasing 181 (but who knows, its T20)

Mohammed Shami ruled out of Asia Cup | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

Even if Shami gets fit before World T20, I don't think he should be in World T20 squad now. Even though he did play a couple of domestic one-day matches, he hasn't played any international cricket since 2015 WC so It would be a huge risk to give him a go straight into the T20 WC. I also don't think Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the right replacement just because he has lost that zip that he used to have to take wickets.

^Oh fukc. Again. I don't like that news.:(

Oman defeated Hong Kong yesterday, and they nearly defeated Afghanistan today. Oman looks dangerous. It would be a great boost for them if they make to the main round of Asia Cup and World Twenty20.

Ajay Lalcheta was so unfortunate that he dismissed Shenwari. You know what I mean.... ;)
