There isn't really anything between the top four sides, on paper they all seem relative even, and their performances have proven that.
It'll be interesting to see how the last three rounds play out, and in the end it could well come down to NRR.

How good is Ross Taylor's T20 record!!!
Out of the players who average more than him, and have played at least 50 T20 matches, no one even comes within 25% S/R of him.

Yeah Ross Taylor's probably the best 20/20 player in the world. He already has the most sixes hit now I think and David Hussey (who he passed yesterday) averages five runs less and has played 20 or so more games.

Just got back from the bay that ND vs Wellington match was a bit of a let down in the end.

Have to say Dilshan was lucky to get any runs at all there.

Highlight was definitely Flynn dropping a catch and knocking it for six it happened right in front of me and I made sure he knew about it.

That's the story Ari haha. Dunno why Flynn is still playing for ND. He's been absolutely terrible in all forms for them this season.

And Vincent didn't use the smaller bat at all in his hundred. I don't think he'd use it if he was called into the Black Caps.

A little off-topic but we are now up to 6th in the test rankings due to Pakistan's loss yesterday. Been such a long time I can't recall the last time we weren't 7th or 8th.

We deserve to be ahead of them anyway, as we would of won the test series if it wasn't for the rain.

Watching the under 19 world cup I have to wonder how Bevan Small hasn't got a game for CD yet, he's only 17 but he's bowling around 140K and moving the ball both ways. Surely he's better then some of the guys they've used this year like Seth Rance for instance (in FC cricket).

Not sure if any of you guys are interested, but the Canterbury Cannons are available in the New Zealand Premier League.

They have a pretty strong squad, and a third of the way through season two they are sitting in 2nd place out of eight teams.

Well since we're mid season you're squad is already there.
Pretty much you just need to name your team every 24 hours, plus take note of injuries etc.
Plus it would be good if you commented in the thread after your matches...

Patel will be captain for Wellington's game tomorrow which is great news because it means Bell isn't playing!

Bell seemed like a bad selection. He bats too slow so they try hide him at 7 or 8. At the end of the day, a specialist batsman at 7 or 8 is a wasted spot.

Yea but with all our injuries we had no choice but to play him Merchant is in the same situation as well. I think we only have about 12 fit players right now.

Looks like its going to be raining anyway which is a shame.
