McCULLUM BOWLED BY A BEAUTY

Brendan McCullum has again gone just before his 50 thanks to a ripper of a ball from Brett Lee. Lee pitched the ball just outside off then cut it in, probably in an effort to catch McCullum LBW in the same way Fleming was trapped. McCullum however, seemed more aware and tried to drive the ball away but was beaten by the extreme dart off the pitch and had his middle stump re-positioned?

LEE PICKS UP A FIVE WICKET HAUL

Brett Lee has again shown that he is a class act with another 5 wicket haul under his belt. Lee?s fifth wicket came in the form of Mason, who was drawn into a defensive nudge at the ball. The ball found the outside edge and flew to Gilchrist who took a good catch diving to his right?

But still more jobs have to be done by Aussie!!!!

KIWIS ALL OUT

Michael Kasprowicz has finished the innings with the wicket of Chris Martin. Kasper bowled a nasty rising delivery that found the outside edge of Martin's bat and flew to Gilchrist. The Australians now have a huge task in order to obtain victory...

MARTIN ROCKS THE AUSTRALIANS

Two wickets in one Chris Martin over have changed the shape of the game. The Kiwis can now see the first glimmers of victory through the Australian batsmen. Phil Jaques came out from the start and played his typical slogger innings before charging out of the crease and edging to second slip. Martin and Fleming also proved the theory that if you get Ponting playing at the ball early, he will get out. That?s exactly what Martin did first ball to Ponting, who gave a simple outside edge catch to Fleming on his first ball?

Aus: 2/30 (8)
Australia require 328 runs
8 wickets in hand

Australia have made a disastrous start to the innings and must try to rebuild their innings. It looks like they will have to rely on their middle order yet again to recover the innings...

SITUATION WORSENS

Now Australia really is in trouble with the wicket of Langer. The World Champions have collapsed to 35/3 chasing 358 for victory. Langer was drawn into a cover drive but wasn?t expecting the ball to dart away and induce the outside edge which flew straight to Brendan McCullum?

MARTO LEADS THE FIGHTBACK

Damien Martyn has been one of the only batsmen of this tour that has looked in great touch. Martyn has converted his good start into a decent score and is looking very dangerous. The tone of his innings was highlighted when he decided to slog Daniel Vettori over the mid wicket fence for six, on the first ball of the Kiwis spell...

Aus: 3/107 (32)
