NZ: 3/100 (35)
New Zealand lead by 107 runs
7 wickets in hand

The Kiwis need to score at a quicker rate and break free of the Australian shackles. Both batsmen at the crease are more then capable of doing so, how will they respond to the challenge?

FLEMING AND ORAM ON THE ATTACK

The Kiwis are now in a very strong position after some great batting by Captain Stephen Fleming and Jacob Oram. Fleming has just reached his 50 from 101 balls including 7 fours and 1 six. Both now need to carry on with their scores and push the total past 300 to give the Kiwis a real chance for victory?

S.Fleming 52(101)*
J.Oram 31(64)*
J.How 58(66)
NZ: 3/173 (51)
New Zealand lead by 180 runs
7 wickets in hand

Kiwis are once again in good positition now!!!!

This match seems like a pendulum swinging to and fro between aussies and newzealand :happy

:cheers

Papps 1 (49) jeez talk about painful :S

IT?S KASPER AGAIN!

Who do you call when you need a wicket? Michael Kasprowicz. Kasper has again produced some brilliant bowling to rid the Aussie?s of Jacob Oram for 31. Oram was tricked by the Queenslander into trying to slog a slower ball which he completely toed straight up in the air. The fielding honours were left to the bowler himself, who picks up his second wicket?

B.McCullum 0(0)*
S.Fleming 53(104)*
J.Oram 31(73)
J.How 58(66)
NZ: 4/174 (53)
New Zealand lead by 181 runs
6 wickets in hand

B.Lee 1/59 (15)
J.Gillespie 1/40 (17)
M.Kasprowicz 2/38(11)
S.Warne 0/30 (10)

The Kiwis are going brilliantly, with the lower order being able to string together at best 100+ runs they are looking at a very comfortable lead to protect within the next few days on a deteriorating pitch?

Kasper is having one hell of a series. New Zealand seem to lose the plot in the second innings!

LEE STIKES: FLEMING GONE FOR NINETY-NINE

Stephen Fleming has received one of the harshest penalties you can ever get in cricket, being out on 99. Fleming was beaten by superior pace and cut of the pitch from Lee. The Aussie quick sent down a 155 km ball that pitched on off then cut in viciously. Fleming was cut in half by the bowling and tried to play the ball off the back foot through the covers but was rapped on the pads on the top of middle and given out LBW for 99?

D.Vettori 0(0)
B.McCullum 15(59)*
S.Fleming 99(181)
J.How 58(66)
NZ: 5/249 (76)
New Zealand lead by 254 runs
5 wickets in hand

B.Lee 2/71 (20)
J.Gillespie 1/61 (20)

NZ: 5/310 (92)
New Zealand lead by 317 runs
5 wickets in hand

The Kiwis continue to put pressure on the Australians and are in a great position going into day 4. The rest of the line up is more then capable of producing another 50 runs. If this happens the Australians will not have much hope of winning the match, judging by their first innings performance?

Warne is without a wicket
I think more work still left for the bowlers!!!!!
Kiwis in commanding position!!!! :clap

DIZZY CLAIMS HIS SECOND WICKET

Jason Gillespie has struck at a very important time for the Australians. Daniel Vettori was looking very dangerous with the bat but was halted in his tracks with a beautiful piece of bowling. Dizzy used what little was left of the balls swing to get Vettori playing away from his body. A thin outside edge followed which flew to slip and the waiting hands of Shane Warne?

J.Franklin 3(5)*
B.McCullum 48(114)*
D.Vettori 31(74)
S.Fleming 99(181)
J.How 58(66)
NZ: 6/330 (98)
New Zealand lead by 337 runs
4 wickets in hand
