New zealand's Tour Of India (Nov 17-Dec 07, 2021)

There is a lot of buzz about this series.

Is it due to Dravid & Rohit?

In office few folks were excited saying we have a game today, saw a few in public trains and metros watching the game.

Even couple of Whatsapp groups had a discussion.

And here I am not even a single bit excited about any T20 stuff at the moment. :D
After a World Cup finished three days ago, a meaningless bilateral series is even less exciting than usual.

The Dravid-Rohit factor for sure! :D Considering the reputations and the fact that these two are taking over on a permanent basis (and not just a stop gap measure), the higher buzz is understandable.

23 off 24 required and we nearly went on to lose. Definite need to address these issues in the long term. Great victory at the end for India.

I would take this type of win any day. We showed intent, we showed the calmness. May be reading too much but the atmosphere in Jaipur was also awesome. I do not know how Pakistani fans take it but UAE is so freaking dull!

I am happy with the way we played. So much more interesting then a certain world event that ended.

Eventually you learn to appreciate the eye catching symmetry of empty blue seats in the Dubai stadium, and the sound of leather hitting willow echoing through the fanless ring of fire.

We need a sad emote for this. I actually can hear the leather hitting willow echoing by just reading your comment.

Didn't watch the game, but from the scorecard itself, one can sense some movements taking place. What I'd have liked- Venky Iyer at the very top- cause like it or not, Rahul plays himself in, hardly attacks ever. KLR can be tried at No4, with the rest of the batters floating around him.

Expect these changes to ring in strongly in the Dravid era. Quite happy with Iyer's elevation. Hope he gets a few more games to prove himself at this level.
