I rather think that the 2nd para might suggest the tracker/watcher as "he decided to have his eyes on him".

GF didn't used his role, this para is to mention the non-lethal night

How do you know that sentence is attributed to the GF almost definitely? Yes its possible, but its also possible that the mafia have a role blocker/other role which was intended to be used last night.

Why would the write up suggest he was "waiting for his target" if he'd actually just not used his role all night? It wouldn't. Could be trying to read too much into it but you could be trying to subtly deflect the obvious answer that someone in the Mafia failed to do there role. Possibly because said person was a commuter hence the target never arriving.

I guessed it mentioned "Godfather was rested"(as it'as non-lethal night).

Night 0​

Having spent most of the time partying, the crew finally decided to call it a night. Some of them weren't yet ready to rest though.

He'd always wanted to play an integral role in the crew, and tonight was an ideal time for him to start showcasing his skills. He made his way into the room of the person he was inevitably suspicious off, only to exit moments later, having found next to nothing.

He was specialized as an inside man, and was suspicious of this one particular guy, and hence decided to have his eyes on him for the night.

He stayed up for the night, looking to execute his plan to perfection. After almost three hours of waiting, with his target never having turned up, he eventually gave up and rested for the night.

The following day broke on a peaceful note, with each and everyone of them alive.

It's now Day 1. With 10 alive, it takes 6 for a lynch.​

I am not sure about para 1 but I think its Matt Damon thats mentioned here, possibly as a cop investigating someone who ended up as town.

2nd Para as a tracker, but his results arent mentioned which is slightly annoying. Possibly only the tracker knows. I am in doubt again, it could be Matt Damon again, because he tend to play that role in the movies.

Third para is about another role being used to target someone, I have a feeling that its a roleblocker here, whether town or mafia Idk, but a roleblocker.

Here you go we possibly know three roles here, a cop, tracker, and a roleblocker (mafia or town).

You realize I am joking around as there is nothing of substance at the moment. Unless someone gives some indication about any info he has or does something suspicious, I feel I cannot do anything. I can just post my thoughts, that's pretty much it.
