5 townies: Cop, Doc/Protector/Angel/Bodyguard, 2 vanillas and another role like Miller, etc

or 3 vanillas

Well I guess we wont know till a night comes, although in a newbie mafia I would expect less killing roles, to ensure maximum play from everyone.

Better a day without us mislynching than one with. All the additional benefits that I outlined in Conspiracy Mafia even though I was mafia then.

I do struggle to see any point in lynching first day to be honest, it nearly always is best to give it a couple of nights preserving people.

That said previous newbie games have all resulted in a lynched townie on day 1 so I'm happy to go no lynch eventually but not yet. Just don't feel we've had much discussion. No discussion helps the mafia.

I think in general regardless of the situation you're probably better with a no lynch first day.

There's never any discussion, the cop doesn't want to give away if he knows anything/may have investigated an innocent and there's just as much chance us picking on the doctor with pressure lynches into claims which he's likely going to have to fake which'll end with his death.
