Presentation Ceremony....​

MT:Welcome everyone to the presentation ceremony of the final of the commonwealth bank Chappell/Hadlee series...With me i have Ralph Norris the CEO of commonwealth bank and ofcourse the two men Ian Chappell and Sir Richard Hadlee..First i wud like to invite Ralph Norris to have some words with us..

RN:Thanks Mark...Good evening ladies and gentlemen...we had a superb match tonite fought hard between one of the two best team and rivals in the world...First we saw some great batting display from the Aussies...I wud like t congratulate Hopes and Hogg for such a wonderful batting display...then we saw some more exciting and sensible batting by the Kiwis in form Styris and Oram..I would like the Congratulate the Australian team for giving their 110% in the game but as we lost it is just a part and parcel of the game..Now I wud like to congratulate the New Zealand team for their victory and retaining the Chappell Hadlee Trophy..
We the commonwealth bank group are proud to sponsor the Australian cricket team and we are proud to extend our contract by 5 years till 2013..Last but surely not the least I wud like to thank the supporters from both the countries for making this event memorable...Thank You...

MT:Thanks Ralph....Now lets go to some individual awards...Commonwealth Bank Bolwer of the day goes to Michael Clarke for his good bowling figures of 3/27...

Now the Commonwealth Bank player of the match...we had some great allround performances by Styris , Hogg , Hopes but at the end we decided to give it to Jacob Oram who is also our Commonwealth bank Man of the Tournament...

Jacob a splendid series in Australia...but today was more special as it was the final...???

JO:Yes , a sensational series and as you said today was more special as we won the final...But i am feeling sad of missing my 2nd 100 of the series that would have been more sensational but anyways as said its just the part and parcel of the game....

MT:Today you just played some really superb cricket...We all loved to watch you today playing...

JO:Yes , Thanks a lot....When i came in we were in a bit of trouble but then scott and me played really sensible cricket...we had decided to hit at one boundary in an over and we probably did it..The ball was coming onto the bat nicely and the bounce was good...I was expecting much tougher to play on the Perth wicket but it has suprised me a lot....

MT:Congratulation and well played and hope you continue the same form in the test series....
