Oram and How bring Kiwis back on track

Bracken and Lee were really effective as the Kiwis were really careful in playing their shots . Styris got of the mark with single and after that they rotated the strike quite well . While How was also getting the single and twos here and there . The running between the wickets by this two pair was superb . Kiwis needed an very important partnership to stabilize the innings and this was just turning out to be one of the most needed on . But as Johnson was brought back into the attack he got the most important wicket of Styris . Styris tried to hitting through the off side field and instead mistime it and was caught at covers by Symonds , Aussies had finally broken the partnership of 27 runs . Styris departed for another poor innings of just 5 .

Oram came in for Styris . Kiwis were in deep trouble as they lost Styris when they had scored only 102 runs on the board . Oram had to play sensible cricket . How and Oram played well . Oram got off the mark with a smashing cover drive of the back foot . He looked in some great form . How and Oram both rotated the strike well with some really good shots for four . How played a great leg glance which raced to boundary . While Oram had hit 2 more boundaries against Brett Lee both on the on side . Slowing but steadily the innings was moving forward . As Kiwis went for lunch they were 131/4 .

Lets hope that the Kiwis are able to get some big partnership over . Stay Tuned as we return we have the Phillips Extra Cover with Tony Grieg

NZ are batting at a quicker rate but at the same time they are losing too many wickets. Lee bowled brilliantly to pick up 3 wickets :clap.

Awesome presentation and great graphics :clap

good batting from How, Styris and Oram there if these two can keep going 300 is a possibility or even more great work mate!

Australia should bowl NZ out for around 220 I think, Lee will finish the tail off.

This partnership has been somewhat convincing for the Kiwis fans.. but yet, lot and lots of work to do for Kiwis. Patience is what all they need. :)

Fantastic as always! :clap

Worst Ever Thing to happen

I am sorry all member i will be unable to continue this New Zealand tour of Australia on cricket 2007 . As due to a lot of virus in my system i had to completely format my PC :crying:upray . So i have decided to finish this tour using ICC 2002 . That is the only cricket game i have . I had installed cricket 2007 from my friend's original DVD . But what bad luck he had to shift at the right time from Mumbai to Chennai .

So I am sorry i will not be able to complete this tour in Cricket 2007 . I am again sorry for a lot of inconvenience cause due to me . :upray . I am again sorry for all those members who supported me out over here . There would not be the same graphics that i used for cricket 2007 . So it would be of a normal version .

But I promise that my next tour of England will be played on Cricket 2007 as it is a cracker of a series .
But before that i need to get the game . :help . This is the worst that has ever happened .

I again apologise all the members for the trouble I have created . :upray:hpraise

Yours Truly ,

Shantanu

How scores his century

It was How who dominated day one with a splendid hundred . How scored his first century of the tour . He scored when it was needed for the Kiwis . The partnership between How and Oram was the most important . Even the partnership between Franklin and How which contributed about 70 runs was very important .

Brett Lee celebrates his 5th wickets

After lunch How and Oram dominated the bowling . White was introduced into the attack . And it was the perfect bowling change by Ponting . How had scored his half century and then it was Oram who joined the party with his half century . But soon Cameron white got rid Oram . Oram was caught by Bracken . The crowd gave him standing applause for his entertaining innings . McCullum came in and he too went back with only a boundary to his name . He was clean bowled by White . Vettori came in and he went back with out scoring a run . He was cleaned bowled by Lee . Franklin and How both steadied the innings . How reached his maiden test century in Australia with a glorious cut against Lee . The crowd applauded him for his well deserved 100 . As the partnership began to score runs How was run out . An innings pleasure to watch had come to an end . Well Played How . Bond and Franklin both got some runs on the board as Franklin reached his 50 . But Bond was given leg before on the bowling of Lee as Lee got his 5 victim . Bond departed for 27 runs . Patel was given lbw of Johnson as he departed for 10 runs . So Aussies ended day 1 getting all the wickets of the Kiwis .
