WOW. That is all I can say. I can truly say I have only ever seen 2 stories where I have been transfixed like that and that is Suren's and Sarvesh's. I really cannot wait for this to start.

Reps for this, but it just isn't enough :noway

Keep it up :thumbs

Squads Announced by Teams

The Mighty Leaders

Paul Collingwood : Paul Collingwood is a good quiet captain . He gained the ODI captaincy when Michael Vaughan got injured and decided to take a temporary retirement from ODIs . Collingwood with England had a decent T20 world cup reaching the super 8s . Collingwood's real challenge was against West Indies when he lost the series . Then he won the next series against India and then recorded a historic series win in Sri Lanka . Collingwood can bat and bowl as well so he is the active captain and has a lot of trust on his players .

Mahendra Singh Dhoni
: Calm cool headed captain coming from the remote village in Jharkhand is now leading India in cricket . He was appointed as the captain of the Young Indian side for the Twenty20 World Cup . He with India had a very successful World Cup by bringing the trophy to India . After that Dhoni was appointed as the ODI captain as Dravid had decided to give up his captaincy . Dhoni led the Indian troops to a great series victory in India against Pakistan . His ability to make correct decision at the correct time and his trust in his players makes him one of the best captain .

Daniel Vettori
: Vettori was appointed as the captain for twenty20 world cup as Stephen Fleming had decided to retire form ODIs . Vettori with new Zealand also had a good T20 world cup by reaching the semis . Since that they had a superb tour of Australia . Retaining the Chappell Hadlee Series 2-1 and drawing the test series 1-1 . His faith in his players makes him a great captain .

The Depending Pillars

67164082ke1.jpg

Ross Taylor [/U]: Ross Taylor was given a chance after Nathan Astle decided to retire from international cricket just before the World Cup . Taylor had a poor World cup in the Caribbean as well as in South Africa . But since that he has shown a lot of maturity in his playing . Some invaluable innings against the Aussies in the Chappell Hadlee Series and also some great knocks in the Test Series as made him New Zealand's depending batsmen in the middle order .

Kevin Pietersen
: Born in South Africa and playing for England Kevin Pietersen is one of the most destructive batsmen in international cricket . KP had a great 2005 Ashes and a decent World Cup . But he regained his form in the T20 World Cup by scoring some 2 odd 50s for his team . KP gives some valuable runs at no 4 position for England . His great abilities to play some great strokes and as well as slog has made him the key batsmen .

Sachin Tendulkar
: What do we need to say about this man . His records and stats speaks for himself . More than 16000 runs and 41 centuries Sachin Tendulkar is surely the best batsmen in the world of cricket . Was not the part of Dhoni's troops who won the T20 world cup but he has showed some great performances at the age of 33 . He is a bit unlucky with the 90s as he was dismissed in the 90s twice against Pakistan . But if he is in form then India are unbeatable .

The Lethal Weapon

76687516pn9.jpg

Ishant Sharma
: A young fast bowler from Delhi as made it in the Indian cricket team . Ishant made his debut against Bangladesh in a test match in which he was not effective . But since he was picked in the Indian side for the test series against England he has performed really well . Picked some 12 wickets in 3 test matches is always the best a young bowler can expect . He would be getting lot of pace and bounce from the English wickets and he would surely be the strike bowler for India .

Shane Bond
: Bond one of the fastest bowlers in the world had a decent world cup in the Caribbean as well as the one in South Africa . He had great Chappell Hadlee against the Aussies . He also had a great test series against Aussies being the main person responsible for New Zealand's victory in the 2nd test . If he continues his form India and England are in deep trouble .

James Anderson : England's fast bowler from Lancashire has made his place in the ODI side fixed with some decent and impressive performances against Sri Lanka and India . Anderson's ability to reverse the ball in is a very dangerous on for the batsmen . He could be really effective with the new ball as well as the old ball in the slog overs . If he is on song he mat win the Natwest Series for England

England have a good record under Collingwood in ODIs . They have won 2 and lost just once . England are going with two new wicket keepers . Phil Mustard and Tim Ambrose are two new inexpirience keepers . While their middle order is very strong as they Kevin Pietersen . Owas Shah and Ravinder Bopara . Luke Wright youngster from Sussex is another good allrounder . While their bowling remains the best . James Anderson , Rayn Siddebottom and Stuart Braod are the best bowlers in the squad . While Swann and Monty will add some spin in the side . Overall it is a well balance side .

Broad key man for England

Stuart Braod is a great find by England . Just 20 years of age and he has made his place in the ODI side . He is a wonderful opening bowler and is really handy with the bat . He could be really destructive in the slog overs .

India

Mahendra Singh Dhoni(c)(wk)
Sachin Tendulkar
Dinesh Karthick(wk)
Yuvraj Singh
Virender Sehwag
Gautam Gambhir
Robin Uthappa
Rohit Sharma
Virat Kohli
Irfan Pathan
Harbhajan Singh
Rudra Pratap Singh
S.Sreesanth
Ishant Sharma
Piyush Chawla
Praveen Kumar

After the success in ICC Twenty 20 World Cup India have decided to go with some new and young faces in Indian Squad . Saurav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid who were once the pillars of Indian Cricket are left out and some new faces like Ishant Sharma , Virat Kohli and Praveen Kumar are taken . Ishant Sharma who had great test series in England was picked for the side . While Virat Kohli the Indian U19 captain who performed really well in Malaysia was also given a ticket to England . Can Dhoni and his troops be able to win yet another Natwest Series ?

Gambhir key man for India

Gautam Gambhir had a terrific T20 World Cup . Being the top scorer in World Cup he has confirmed his place in the starting 11 . Gambhir is a good fielder also . So if he fire India can probably win the Series .

New Zealand

Lou Vincent
Shane Bond
Kyle Mills
Chris Martin
Michael Papps
Mattew Sinclair
Jamie How
Jeetan Patel
James Franklin
Jacob Oram
Ross Taylor
Peter Fulton
Scott Styris

After a great Commonwealth Bank Chappell and Hadlee Series in Australia New Zealand will be in full confidence to beat England and Inida . New Zealand have made some changes as they have left out Gareth Hopkins , Michael Gillespie and gone for Kyle Mills and Chris Martin . This two inclusions bring some good bowling depth in the side . Kiwis have a great depth in batting as Vettori can also bat at no 8 . So it would be tough for the other sides to beat the Kiwis . Can Kiwis win the Natwest Series and create history ?

Jacob Oram the key man for New Zealand

Jacob Oram has been in good touch in recent times in Australia . If he fires he will be unstoppable and he will secure that the kiwis do win the series .

Great update mate and very enjoyable read, however there were quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes which I noticed, and thought I should just point out. But only a minor point as it was a sensational update :)

Great update there. India have a strong side there and will be difficult to beat.

Nice presentation, although like Tom said, you have quite a few grammar mistakes. They can be overlooked after a great update though:)
