ODI Tri-Series (Malaysia)

Too bad it's raining it looked it was going to be a great battle between Sachin and McGrath! More information in 5 minutes (on the state of the match)!

latest update is that india has to chase 170 odd in 29 overs bad again for india

Poor communication by Tendulkar and Sehwag, could prove to be very costly. Can Tendulkar do something special tonight??

Oh well it's all over now for India. Tendulkar gone as well. Guess the pressure got the better of them and the rain interuption certainly have dented their chances of winning.

Johnson, bringer of chaos?
Oh my oh my.
just because you have mad sideburns doesnt mean you can get away with everything!! Johnson isn't too bad, he seems to have turned his career around. some of those deliveries  he is looking like a promising young player indeed!

Hopefully it will continue raining so India can get some points as the D.L. Method does not come into play unless and until 20 overs have been bowled.

Rain delays are good for checking stats. Especially live career stats!

Johnson's career ODI average before this match was 47.80, he has now dragged that down to 27.77. He's also shaved 3 runs off his List A average.

Similarly, Watson has pushed himself from 29.94 to a more respectable 32.66 with his highest ODI score.

Of course, there are always losers in the battle of numbers. Cosgrove shed 16 runs from his batting average.

Since rain is the subject at the time. Who has seen Cricket Cafe, it has got to be the most tacky show ever!

Who the hell told Dravid that he can open the innings? How many explosive innings has he ever played? India needed a fast start because rain interruption was expected and Dravid is certainly not the player you would expect to press the throttle to the metal.
I hope he stops smoking dope and lets Sehwag do what he does best. Aussies believe in experimentation and given the amount of talent available to their team they can afford to do that. If Greg Chappel thinks this is how he is going to prepare India for the world cup then he should be ready for a very rough ride.
